Speedy deletion nomination of Funky Dee[edit]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Funky Dee requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} at the top of the article, immediately below the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate), and providing your reasons for contesting on the article's talk page, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

You may want to read the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies. JamesBWatson (talk) 12:44, 5 January 2011 (UTC)

Deliberately misleading content[edit]

Please remove the fake "You have new messages" message from the top of this page. While deliberately wasting the time of other users may amuse you, it is not a legitimate part of the use of Wikipedia. If you want a reference to a guideline relating to this then you may like to see WP:SMI, though in my opinion such a reference should not be needed. JamesBWatson (talk) 12:49, 5 January 2011 (UTC)

I deleted it. Happy?  RichardOwen97  talk  17:26, 5 January, 2011 (UTC)

Hello from MOTD[edit]

Hello. We could do with your assistance for suggestions of mottos and any decisions on current ones. Please see Wikipedia:Motto of the day/Nominations. MOTD's State of Emergency + 1st of May's Motto[edit]

As you probably already know, we are facing some problems at MOTD. I am personally monitoring all the nominations on a daily basis and I'm finding very difficult to aprove the motto for the next day. The number of nominations has grown significantly, but even then it seems not enough. Please, if you have time, take a look at the nominations. And, if you like some of them but you think they are not good enough for being approved because of the set of links or and etcetera, please, try to improve them where it is possible. At this rate, I fear that we will see the end of the project. Thanks in advance.
I have also added a special nomination for this Sunday, 1st of May (International Workers' Day or May Day). Please, take a look at it if you can.
All the best. –pjoef (talkcontribs) 15:06, 28 April 2011 (UTC)

P.S.: I'm sorry to bother you again, but take a look at this if you can. Once again, thank you. –pjoef (talkcontribs) 18:28, 28 April 2011 (UTC)

Mother's Day 2011 or 2012[edit]

Okay, I'm here again to bother you (again and again... sorry). Things seem to go much better at MOTD, right now. THANK YOU!!!
The reason why I'm writing you is the following: next Sunday (8th of May) is Mother's Day. I know that it is celebrated on different days around the world, but I'd love if we could (and are able to) make our "very-little" contribution in honour of all the mothers in the world. For the upcoming 8th of May (Sunday) there is already a motto in schedule, but I think that we can move the motto approved for that day to another date and to put one about mothers in place of it. Here is my nomination.
Thank you in advance and all the best! –pjoef (talkcontribs) 12:51, 3 May 2011 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of North Home Counties Sunday Football League[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article North Home Counties Sunday Football League has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable competition

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ChrisTheDude (talk) 08:12, 6 May 2011 (UTC)

Need help[edit]

Dear Sir,

I am a novice here and need help with the editing of the page Rooma Mehra. Would really appreciate the intervention of an experienced, kind Wikipedian such as yourself.

I apologize for any liberties taken.

Thank you

Motto of the Day Motto Shop[edit]

Hello! My name is Belugaboy, and by now, you and I both have heard of the Motto Shop, and if not, there's a Motto Shop! It's an exclusive place where users can get their own motto to live by on the wiki. It's great, but we're really running slow, in fact, we haven't seen a customer in months. So we thought YOU, the contributors to Motto of the Day, could spread the word to your WikiFriends, heck, order yourself one, whether you have or haven't before. Thank you and warm regards to all of you!

Disambiguation link notification[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Montenegro national football team, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Friendly (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

MotD Nomination for the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics (27 July 2012)[edit]

We at the Motto of the Day would be extremely grateful if you could review a couple of "special" nominations for the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics on the 27th of July 2012. Here is the link to the first nomination, if you can help. The others follow it, and you can add your own ones or improve the existing nominations, of course.

Re: Port Vale[edit]

Hi there - I didn't revert any edit to Port Vale - I guess that was someone else? I reverted the edit to PNE (removing the third kit) because the 2013/14 third kit has been announced by the club [3]. Hope that helps! --DaveG12345 (talk) 10:35, 2 September 2013 (UTC)

Re: Port Vale (not)[edit]

Wow - I didn't notice the stripes change! And yes, it's correct, so apologies, I didn't mean to revert that bit... :) --DaveG12345 (talk) 12:40, 2 September 2013 (UTC)

West Bromwich Albion F.C. third kit[edit]

Hi, I just wanted to check what your source was for the third kit that you added to West Bromwich Albion F.C.? I couldn't find any third kit at, only home and away. Cheers. --Jameboy (talk) 19:03, 15 November 2013 (UTC)

Ah OK, thanks. I'm not sure if it is just my monitor, but the 3rd kit on the historical kits page is a sort of deep red, but on the WBAFC Wikipedia page looks like a sort of "T-mobile magenta" or dark pink(!) We might need to adjust the shade a little. --Jameboy (talk) 21:24, 15 November 2013 (UTC)

Nomination of 1PS for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article 1PS is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/1PS until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. Blethering Scot 21:54, 16 February 2014 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for March 9[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2013–14 Manchester United F.C. season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Phil Jones (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Motto of the Day Help Request April 2014[edit]

Today's motto...

The peculiar danger of executive power is that it executes.

Nominate one today!

Motto of the Day (WP:MOTD) is in a state of emergency and really needs your help! There are not enough editors who are reviewing or nominating mottos at Wikipedia:Motto of the day/Nominations/In review, and this probably means that you will notice a red link or “This space for rent” as our mottos for the next weeks and months.

Please take a moment to review the nominations and nominate your own new mottos at Wikipedia:Motto of the day/Nominations/In review and Wikipedia:Motto of the day/Nominations/'Specials. Any help would be appreciated! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 09:13, 29 April 2014 (UTC)

AFC Wimbledon Kits 2014/15[edit]

Hi there, I noticed that you were the one who created the templates for the AFC Wimbledon kits last season and you did a really great job on it. I just wanted to know if you would be able to do the same for this season's new kits if you have the time? I would really appreciate it. The designs can be found at the following link [4]. Thanks. --Jodie25 (talk) 11:29, 24 July 2014 (UTC)

MK Dons new kit[edit]

I see you've been doing lots of kits, so I suspect that you will be a lot faster than me at doing this. The full Dons kit for next season is here, specifically the missing away kit - but I think you also need to check the home and spare kits you've done. Thanks! --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 21:23, 26 July 2014 (UTC)

Thanks for quick response and great job. The final new kit has only just been announced. I know what you mean - maybe you can build more! I did it one year by making a full shirt gif, but got into trouble for a copyright vio. I think we aren't allowed to be TOO accurate! --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 21:44, 26 July 2014 (UTC)

St Mirren away kit[edit]

Thanks for your recent contribution to for new St Mirren away kit. I am awful at trying to do the kits, and appreciate your help - but could you alter the kit that you have done? - the current one is slightly different from the alteration you recently made. There is a black and white gradient at the top of the shirt, as shown here.

Would you be able to make it the same as this? Many thanks ;) Andybud (talk) 13:04, 10 August 2014 (UTC)
