File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Onemanandhishobtitlecard.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. FASTILY (TALK) 04:47, 15 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Images[edit]

Greetings. I saw your question at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. It looks like you fixed up File:Onemanandhishobtitlecard.jpg perfectly, so no problems there. I'm not sure why ImageTaggingBot thinks File:Scottishgolfshowtitlecard.jpg has no source... I've asked the bot operator about it, and hopefully the issue will be resolved soon. In the meantime, the image is fine. All the best, – Quadell (talk) 21:56, 15 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 02:13, 16 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The unreferenced tag is put in place because no references are listed on the page, once the references are added the template may be removed. Please do not remove the tag until the actual reference(s) are added to the page. Best, Otisjimmy1 (talk) 02:34, 16 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Rangers F.C. seasons[edit]

Thanks your welcome, you are doing some good work getting the seasons online. At the minute I do not think adding Glasgow Cup or Charity Cup sections are important. When all the Rangers seasons pages are complete then maybe the pages could be "backfilled" with other tournaments. Although this might confuse users since they would not be termed competitive matches or included in the appearances section. Johnelwaq (talk) 17:49, 4 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Delta Racing[edit]

Hi. A bit of a mystery and the website does seem to refer to quite a small team. However in the 2009 Superleague Formula season, Delta Racing only looks after one car and even shares the duty with Alan Docking Racing so that could be the team we're after, under a slightly different name: Delta Motor Sport, similar to how Ultimate Motorsport can also be known as Ultimate Signature. I did also notice though that there doesn't seem to be any mention of SLF on the Delta Motor Sport website. Thank you also for creating pages for all the other SLF drivers and teams which has been very useful. Keep up the good work! Officially Mr X (talk) 09:10, 23 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

That is almost certainly the correct team. You could start adding results to the team pages to make them longer and bring them up to the standard of GP2 teams' pages such as ART Grand Prix. Thank you. Officially Mr X (talk) 09:17, 23 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

He is now the official test driver for the new Pro1000 race series. That is why he was replaced by Scott Mansell at Galatasaray for Donington and beyond. There are details about the new Pro1000 series here. It's the first I've heard of the new series and maybe you could help try and create a Wikipedia page for it with mention of Tappy and the plans for the new series. It would also be useful to add the news to Tappy's own page. Thanks. Officially Mr X (talk) 15:39, 23 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Superleague Formula round Germany requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Updating American Open Wheel Racing template[edit]

Hi, I've been noticing you've been updating the American Open Wheel Racing/IndyCar Series results template. When you do so, please remember to update the cumulative summary space at the bottom. If the individual race results and summary get out of sync it can be very difficult to identify and correct. -Drdisque (talk) 21:52, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your articles for deletion[edit]

Orphaned non-free image (File:Sinkingroyaloaktitlecap.JPG)[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Sinkingroyaloaktitlecap.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. — ξxplicit 05:49, 29 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

2010 SF Races[edit]

May I ask what the point was in creating the 2010 race pages such as 2010 Magny-Cours Superleague Formula round when you were just going to redirect them back to the 2010 season page? Surely it would have been better to wait until later next year to create the pages. You could have at least created an intro onto the pages. I see no point in creating a redirect page. Maybe you are just in the middle of sorting it out? Officially Mr X (talk) 16:04, 22 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Roadblocker! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 1,535 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Many SF Templates[edit]

Are you sure there aren't now too many SF templates? If you are going to create so many you should make sure all links have the template on as well and that the right templates are on the right pages. Officially Mr X (talk) 16:17, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

SF[edit]

Just to say in advance, I recommend you probably don't create a Future of Superleague Formula page in case you were thinking of doing so as it isn't really necessary of its own page (just as List of Superleague Formula broadcasters possibly wasn't). It's great you are improving some SF pages but it's fair to say that the race pages need updating and expanding the most. Thanks.

Just to summarise what pages need what (some also need tenses changed and facts updated):

Officially Mr X (talk) 19:48, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, and ease up a little on the creating of new pages: I just noticed the Superleague Formula round Germany and Superleague Formula round UK pages, you cannot create these pages if you don't even link them to anywhere else within SF (nobody can find them, I didn't even know they existed!). Officially Mr X (talk) 20:06, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
One final thing, I suggest you add Template:Superleague Formula to your 'to delete' list seeing as you've made its purpose defunct and is no longer present on any article pages. Thanks. Officially Mr X (talk) 20:15, 20 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I really think it would be wise to delete Template:Superleague Formula races as well: the details can be moved to Template:Superleague Formula rounds. We have too many templates to be able to deal with at the moment and I'm considering how we can merge Template:Superleague Formula seasons with Template:Superleague Formula champions as well.
To summarise what really should be deleted as promptly as possible:

Superleague Formula[edit]

Hello Roadblocker. Nice to have you back editing. Will you be creating and improving the pages specified at Wikipedia:WikiProject Superleague Formula as you said you would? The new season is about to start so I would be grateful if you could get a lot of these SF pages up to a higher standard, notably the ones about SF races and specific rounds. Girondins de Bordeaux (Superleague Formula team) needs re-creating now they are officially in the series, along with a standard SF club template for them. I would also be grateful if you could gather information with the intent to create a page for Alpha Team, who seem to have cropped up to replace Durango in operating two of the cars. I of course will help, but I need your help and best intentions to make these things happen. We have delayed it long enough. Thanks. Officially Mr X (talk) 11:02, 2 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, I hope you do. As I say, I would be very grateful. Officially Mr X (talk) 12:07, 2 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi[edit]

I have a favour to ask you. Could you please put a {{db-author}} tag on Template:Infobox SF2 race. I'm sure there was a good reason at the time for you to create it but now it is not being used I see no reason for it to be floating about. As the author, a deletion tag from you on this page will see the page go quick and simply. Hope you understand. Thanks. Officially Mr X (talk) 21:15, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You are now a Reviewer[edit]

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 18:46, 19 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Jimmy Auby requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. --Nuujinn (talk) 02:33, 2 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Pro1000 Series has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Upcoming (for the 2010 season)? As of 2011, the series is nowhere to be known or exist, I don't know if it will ever exist, hence this is why this is recommended for deletion.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist.
