DarkSpace[edit]

Hello,

Thanks for taking interest in the article DarkSpace. I have a question about your recent edit to move the game requirements into the Development section. Is the Development section the preferred place to post game requirements? I was trying to follow the article guidelines, but I see that they only specify an infobox, not what to do with requirements themselves.

When writing DarkSpace I added the requirements as part of the infobox because it looked like other large game articles had done so - for example StarCraft, Quake, and WoW.

Anyway, not complaining; just curious as to if/why you think that is the best place to put them :)

Thanks! --Culix (talk) 03:45, 3 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Good question. I saw the {{VG requirements}} template on the WikiProject templates page and assumed they were recommended, but on closer inspection I see it's mainly for when you need more room than the infobox provides. I was going off of pages like Dragon Age: Origins or Assassin's Creed, but I think you're right—the reqs for DarkSpace fit fine in the infobox. The World of Warcraft reqs should definitely be moved to the template though, :P. — roseformula 16:07, 3 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ahh, good call! The Dragon Age requirements *are* pretty long. Maybe this would be a good thing to mention on the article guidelines talk page to see if anyone wants to formally define the intent? If you and I both found different examples of usage other people might be doing it too. --Culix (talk) 16:19, 7 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
