Carlsbad, California

hi Rosie This is Susan from the Carlsbad Historical Society. We made some edits after yours, as cbadhistorical. You could email us at cbadhistory@yahoo.com Bye

Hi Susan! Great to hear from you!!Rosiestephenson 19:49, 19 August 2007 (UTC)

Deepak Chopra

Hi Rosie, thanks for your contribution to the Deepak Chopra article, it was good information. I had to revert it because it was virtually identical to the source from which it was taken. We need to do our very best to avoid copyright violations and plagiarism. It's excellent that you cited your sources!. Thanks! Dreadstar 02:21, 17 July 2007 (UTC)

Hello Dreadstar. Just realized I can respond to entries on my talk page. Thanks for your comments during my WP newby stage.Rosiestephenson 19:49, 19 August 2007 (UTC)

July 2007

Please do not post copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to Middletown, California. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. The text you added to this article on July 3rd was taken verbatim from the source. Please don't do this again. If you have added verbatim text to other articles - please go back and either remove it or paraphrase it so as not to violate the source's copyright. Thanks. Versageek 04:02, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

Hello Versageek. Sorry for the way I handled the article and citation while a WP newby.Rosiestephenson 19:49, 19 August 2007 (UTC)

The Kenneth Wapnick Article Discussion

Hi Rosie,
In case you might be interesrted, there is some discussion going on about whether or not Wikipedia should include an article about Kenneth Wapnick at: Requesting your opinion re reinstating the Kenneth Wapnick article... and at Request to rescind your decision to delete the Kenneth Wapnick article on July 6, 2006. Your input at the Admin's page would be most appreciated.

Thanks,
-Scott P. 17:23, 12 August 2007 (UTC)

Hi Scott. Thanks for soliciting my opinion. I went ahead and remarked on the Wapnick Discussion page.Rosiestephenson 19:49, 19 August 2007 (UTC)

Hi, I reverted your changes to these two articles out of regard to WP:Dates. Ordinarily it is only full dates (e.g. 16 August 2007) that need to wikilinked, and stand-alone days, months or years should only be wikilinked if such links would enrich the reader's understanding of the article. As for the bulleted list in the Beato article, I used uncommon layout formatting so that the descriptive titles would be more closely associated (visually) with their 19th century counterparts - in the form you used, the modern and original titles are spread evenly and therefore more dificult to read. Hope this explanation makes sense. Ciao! Pinkville 01:48, 17 August 2007 (UTC)

Hi Pinkville. I understand your thoughts on these two articles; no problem with the reverts you made.Rosiestephenson 19:49, 19 August 2007 (UTC)

Quang Tri Province

I've reverted your additions to the article Quang Tri Province regarding the Bru language being the most spoken language since Vietnamese is the main language in every Vietnamese province. DHN 01:24, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

Reply re. Dura language

In reply to your comment, you are quite right, and I made the move, and took the opportunity to add a bit more info. Thanks for flagging it. - Reaverdrop (talk/nl) 08:57, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

Temecula Valley

Hello. I saw you created the page Temecula Valley. WP:Wine has settled on naming designated American Viticultural Areas using the style "(name) AVA" Would you have an objection to renaming the article to Temecula Valley AVA? Thanks. VirginiaProp 17:25, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

Good idea. I've renamed the article; moved it.Rosiestephenson 21:38, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

Did you know

Updated DYK query On 24 September, 2007, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Kallawaya people, which you created or substantially expanded. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

Callahuaya

The original language (Callahuaya/Kollyawaya) is extinct. What the herb doctors now speaks is a Quechua based jargon consisting of 10-20% Kallahuaya words. Well ... it seems all 3 are same.Axxn 10:38, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
