Hi. When you recently edited 2011–12 Blackburn Rovers F.C. season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Grant (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Infobox dates[edit]

Hi, when updating infobox stats you should update the |pcupdate= or |club-update= parameter by adding five tildes (~~~~~), which generates the specific time the update was made. Cheers, Mattythewhite (talk) 20:54, 28 January 2014 (UTC)

Sourcing[edit]

There have been several discussions about sourcing UKiPs membership figures to reliable 3rd party sources. Now I know Wikipedias policy of having 3rd party sources, we do not just take claims at face value. Please stop accusing editors of bad faith editing, you may have a political agenda to push, I'm just interested in keeping Wikipedia accurate. GimliDotNet (Speak to me,Stuff I've done) 04:59, 17 June 2014 (UTC)

Could you also provide evidence were I have attempted to label UKIP as far right, or withdraw your accusation from my talk page. GimliDotNet (Speak to me,Stuff I've done) 05:31, 17 June 2014 (UTC)

June 2014[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm GimliDotNet. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, it's important to be mindful of the feelings of your fellow editors, who may be frustrated by certain types of interaction, such as your addition to User_talk:BrettRickles. While you probably didn't intend any offense, please do remember that Wikipedia strives to be an inclusive atmosphere. In light of that, it would be greatly appreciated if you could moderate yourself so as not to offend. Thank you. GimliDotNet (Speak to me,Stuff I've done) 05:04, 17 June 2014 (UTC)

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at UK Independence Party. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. Darkness Shines (talk) 19:46, 17 June 2014 (UTC)

Bad Faith[edit]

[1] here you accuse me of undoing an edit without explanation, despite there being an edit summary.

[2] here you accuse me of attempting to label UKIP as a far right organisation, something which I have never done.

[3] here you undo my edit and accuse me of vandalism.

[4] here you accuse me of "damaging" UKIP and again labelling UKIP as far right, something I have never done.

Talk:UK_Independence_Party here you will find multiple debates on why UKIP is not a reliable source for their own membership figures.

Please stop accusing me of vandalism, start assuming good faith and feel free to join in discussions on article talk pages to gain consensus.

If you continue to harass me with accusations as above I will have no choice but to raise this at WP:ANI GimliDotNet (Speak to me,Stuff I've done) 20:20, 17 June 2014 (UTC)

I have responded to your comments on my talk page if you'd care to read them GimliDotNet (Speak to me,Stuff I've done) 05:14, 18 June 2014 (UTC)

The Guardian[edit]

Is certainly not a tabloid - I've never heard anyone suggest that it is. It's not left wing either - our article says it identifies with Social liberalism. Either you know nothing about the UK press or you are a bad judge of sources. Feel free to go to WP:RSN if you think I'm wrong, but please don't try removing it again as a source on those grounds from any article. Dougweller (talk) 21:04, 17 June 2014 (UTC)

June 2014[edit]

Stop icon

This is your only warning; if you make personal attacks on other people again, as you did at UK_Independence_Party, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. You ignored my warning at ANI - I'm telling you now to stop calling other editors vandals because you disagree with them. Once more and I'll block you. Dougweller (talk) 21:10, 17 June 2014 (UTC)

Responding to your post on my talk page. No, I'm not going to remove my warning (which you call a threat), because it is unacceptable to call editors vandals or their edits vandalism. And as I assume you don't want to be blocked, all you have to do is refrain from such accusations and follow our policy of WP:CIVIL and WP:AGF. You ask on my talk page for civilized discussion, something I endorse but I know from my experience that such accusations often make civil discussion impossible. You are of course free to remove my warning and I wouldn't blame you for removing it, but will expect you to drop that particular stick. On another issue, you say the editor you are criticising has done nothing about another article - which he doesn't seem to be editing. It isn't up to him to keep all such articles in line with the UKIP one. You have a userbox at the top of this page calling yourself one of the 400 most active Wikipedians. With only 5,156 edits how can that possibly be true? That's almost 730 edits per year for the time you've had this account, or just over 2 a day. You aren't in the 10,000 most active, see Wikipedia:List of Wikipedians by number of edits/5001–10000. You also claim to have edited Nigel Farage - I'm not the only one to ask what account you are using for those edits, or it might be via an IP address. And if you've edited Farage, UKIP and Roger Helmer for the last 3 months as you've said, that isn't shown in your user contributions so again you aren't using this account. Dougweller (talk) 09:49, 18 June 2014 (UTC)

Your post to WP:AN[edit]

Forgot - that ended up in the archive so I moved it to the main page. You'll also note I edited the UKIP article to show that the figures are from UKIP. I'm wondering if the IP who edited it before me was you. Dougweller (talk) 09:50, 18 June 2014 (UTC)

Kabba Modou Cham[edit]

You know the donkey we released last season isn't the same guy as the youth player at Rovers, right? Kabba is 4 years older than the one at Blackburn! Salty1984 (talk) 16:05, 9 July 2014 (UTC)
