Signing talk-page posts[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. Eubulides (talk) 21:46, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Deleting legitimate talk-page comments[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:Water fluoridation, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Eubulides (talk) 00:59, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Original research causing talk page disruption[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We welcome and appreciate your contributions, including your edits to talk:Time_dilation, but we cannot accept original research. Original research also encompasses novel, unpublished syntheses of previously published material. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your information. Thank you. - DVdm (talk) 08:01, 19 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Editing old posts[edit]

Per WP:TALK, please do not modify the statements you made in old posts that others have responded to. Instead, make a follow-up post giving the corrections you wish to make. --Christopher Thomas (talk) 23:24, 21 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
