Re: RAII[edit]

I was just looking at my recent contribs and noticed that my message to you about RAII was unduly harsh. I must have been annoyed with the unrelated assert() flame war, or something. Sorry about that. Of course, feel free to edit as much as you wish (no need to "constrain your edits" as I previously suggested). Xerxesnine 04:34, 23 April 2007 (UTC)

Jesus Phone[edit]

A tag has been placed on Jesus Phone, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Capitalization variation of Jesus phone which was already speedy deleted. "Jesus Phone" is not another name for the new iPhone. See Wikipedia:Redirects_for_discussion/Log/2007_June_29 For more information about previous deletion.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet very basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. BsayUSD [Talk] [contribs] 17:35, 2 July 2007 (UTC)

D&D articles for Wikipedia 0.7[edit]

Hi there!  :)

As someone who's worked on D&D and/or RPG articles before, I'm inviting you to participate in our goal to both improve articles that have been selected to be placed in the next Wikipedia DVD release, as well as nominate more to be selected for this project. Please see the WikiProject D&D talk page for more details. :) BOZ (talk) 18:27, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

Ambox warning pn.svg

I have nominated Lynx (protocol), an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Lynx (protocol) (2nd nomination). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. The Caryatids[edit]

Copyright-problem.svg

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of The Caryatids, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://harrietklausner.wwwi.com/review/the_caryatids_sterling. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 07:52, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

License tagging for File:Lava River Cave Arizona.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Lava River Cave Arizona.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 04:05, 10 June 2009 (UTC)

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference[edit]

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being minor in the usual way.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. With the script in place, you can continue with this functionality indefinitely (its use is governed by WP:MINOR). If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 19:30, 15 March 2011 (UTC)
