Population Change Image

Hi, You deleted the Iran Population Change Image in Iran. I didn't know that before adding an image to that article, it must be discussed in the talk page. However, I think that image is very useful and informative for Iran article. Please, anyhow add it again to that article. Thanks. --M samadi (talk) 13:29, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Hi,

Please look at this page. I think unreliable sources (and the exaggerated numbers which are based on them) should be removed. Alefbe (talk) 01:47, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

WP:Not

I couldn't find anything in WP:Not that said that linking private componies to state articles is wrong if the article is related. Please help me find which section of WP:Not you are referring to . Also that would explain why you would delete the see also section but why delete the link to the database provided for the state organization. surely a link to a database or a library which belongs to that department is very relevant and should stay in external links! --  Rmzadeh  ►  03:24, 8 June 2009 (UTC)

Your argument is valid to some extend but has noting to do with WP:Not and is too simplified, you cant compare an os provider to a database provider to sectors of government. I agree that the see also was perhaps not necessary but I still believe that there is no grounds for deleting the database external links, as that is the link to the database provided by those departments and is very relevant. --  Rmzadeh  ►  04:46, 8 June 2009 (UTC)

I have nominated Absal, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Absal. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

File:Iran population&gdp.JPG

This figure is not much informative for GDP. It's better to have a figure for GDP (PPP), based on some fixed dollar (like the 1990 dollar). For 1950-2002 you can find the data in page 554 of this book. Alefbe (talk) 09:29, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for April 8

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Communications in Iran, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Amazon. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
