Your contributed article, Editing List of LA Ink episodes[edit]

Imbox notice.png

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Editing List of LA Ink episodes. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as yourself. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - List of LA Ink episodes. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will to continue helping improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at List of LA Ink episodes - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. MuffledThud (talk) 07:42, 21 February 2010 (UTC)

List of LA Ink episodes[edit]

The summaries in List of LA Ink episodes appear to have been copies of copyrighted text from http://www.locatetv.com/tv/la-ink/2940409/episode-guide. They've now been removed: please have a read of Wikipedia:Copyright problems for more info. Summaries are a good idea though, so please consider writing them, but in your own words. Thanks, MuffledThud (talk) 08:00, 21 February 2010 (UTC)

Non-free rationale for File:HAVEN-Fear-Loathing-Season-2-Episode-2-3-550x366.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:HAVEN-Fear-Loathing-Season-2-Episode-2-3-550x366.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Phearson (talk) 05:53, 22 August 2011 (UTC)

License tagging for File:Haven-A-Tale-of-Two-Audreys.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Haven-A-Tale-of-Two-Audreys.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 07:08, 22 August 2011 (UTC)

I was about to go back and try to add a liscence tag to the photos, but unfortunately I couldn't do it last night cause of a really bad storm.

Haven: Lockdown[edit]

Feel free to create the page if you have reliable sources for the info before the episode is aired. The previews show Antoine, Priestley and Edge, but what about the troubled woman in the episode? -- Ihutchesson (talk) 05:17, 7 September 2011 (UTC)

You can really do it as you see fit. Even though there are only a few days to the episode. I just remember being pulled up for putting a director's name into the season episode list and someone pulling the info because I hadn't supplied the source, which was not very quotable anyway, but it was correct. If no-one pulls the data, then there's no problem, is there? -- Ihutchesson (talk) 08:58, 7 September 2011 (UTC)

Problems with upload of File:Teaser poster.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Teaser poster.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 03:05, 31 May 2012 (UTC)

Is there away to delete it? Cause I forgot to change the title at first, but I had to start all over again. (talk) 12:26, 31 May 2012 (UTC)

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Dolby Surround 7.1 may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

"Scare" block notices[edit]

Hi, I noticed that you added a block template to this IP user's talk page. Please refrain from doing that. Scaring vandals into thinking they are blocked doesn't help, because the editor can still edit, and you're only creating confusion for other editors who might think the user has actually been blocked. In the future, please report vandals to WP:AIV. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 19:16, 24 July 2013 (UTC)

Hello, I'm one of the admins that came across Cyphoidbomb's report at AIV. In future, please do not attempt to impersonate an administrator by placing an admin template on a users talk page. If a user is being as disruptive as the report to AIV was claiming then reports like this should be filed at WP:AN/I.
Simply placing a blocking template on a talk page does not block a user, only us admins have the extra tool that is required to do that. To place a blocking template to simply scare someone may even be considered editing in bad faith.
Thanks in advance for your co-operation--5 albert square (talk) 23:55, 24 July 2013 (UTC)

Sorry I did not know that, but I will tell you know that user is back to his old ways. (User talk: S_hannon434) 4:25, 13 September 2013 (UTC)

March 2014[edit]

Information icon Thank you for making a report to Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, it appears that the editor you reported did not engage in vandalism; content disputes are not vandalism. Thank you. Acalamari 18:22, 5 March 2014 (UTC)

False Accusations[edit]

However much you might disagree with a user, please do not falsely accuse them of vandalism when they have not done anything to vandalize the article like how you falsely accused me of vandalism on the Demi Lovato page. As admin Acalamari indicated, content disputes are not reasons to report vandalism. Thank you. XXSNUGGUMSXX (talk) 18:26, 5 March 2014 (UTC)

Actually you're making a fool of yourself since you've been blocked once. don't bring your trash talking to me. S_hannon434 (talk) 5:53, 8 March 2014 (UTC)

I am most certainly not "trash talking" or making myself look like a fool. You cannot make accusations with poor basis like you did when falsely accusing me of vandalism. XXSNUGGUMSXX (talk) 22:57, 8 March 2014 (UTC)
