I have nominated SO.F.T. - Sorgenti di Firenze Trekking, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/SO.F.T. - Sorgenti di Firenze Trekking. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. — Timneu22 · talk 15:04, 3 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi...[edit]

...And welcome from me too; I was trying to clean up the article about Buccellatom because it look like it's an automatic translation and some points are extremely hard to understand. Would you mind, please, telling me where the original version is, so that I can see to cleaning up the article? Thanks! Salvio ( Let's talk 'bout it!) 22:51, 4 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Language[edit]

Ciao, vedo che sei italiano e stai traducendo alcune pagine dall'italiano all'inglese.

Ciao--Alienautic (talk) 16:30, 7 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Warning[edit]

(in English) To create new articles is always a good thing and, for that, I thank you; however, when you do so, you should make sure to write in intelligible English and not to use Google Translate or another automatic translation program, because, doing so, you obtain a very poor translation and you make it very hard (even for an Italian mother tongue) to understand what you meant and to clean up your article. Also, please, try to provide reliable sources and to add the article in at least one or two categories (to do that, you can use WP:HOTCAT). Please try to take my suggestions on board, or I'll be forced to report you to WP:ANI as a case of competence is required.
Salvio ( Let's talk 'bout it!) 17:07, 8 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ciao! Unfortunately I had to revert many of your additions due to their poor language, problems with Wikipedia editing rules, etc. If you check histories of the articles involved you can have an idea of the changes you need to your style. Let me know for any help! --'''Attilios''' (talk) 21:39, 8 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It's seems there's not way to induce this robotic editor to respect any of the conventions of Wikipedia, or to understand that he should write in an understandable English. --'''Attilios''' (talk) 17:37, 13 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Compagnetto da Prato has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. -- Patchy1 REF THIS BLP 11:38, 9 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • I have removed the proposed deletion template because this is not a living person; in fact your original version stated that he was 13th-century. But the article does need sources. Do you have any you could add? --Yngvadottir (talk) 13:02, 9 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
