Image request[edit]

Dear SamJohnston, I was wondering whether you could make a variant of File:GNU General Public License 3 Logo.svg for use in this article. At present, the GNU logo is used (File:Heckert GNU white.svg ), which is confusing as it's the image for the GNU operating system (has nothing to do with licenses). Like GFDL Logo.svg?
That's perfect, thanks. I updated the page.

Disambiguation link notification for January 1[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Virtustream, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Bethesda, EMC and SAP (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Gazelle (internet company)[edit]

Hi Sam. I noticed you previously posted a COI tag on this page in 2009, which at some point must have been removed, despite the article still showing clear signs of COI from - based on your description - hwat appears to be a persistent COI effort.

I am a PR rep who helps companies contribute to Wikipedia ethically, using Talk pages and disclosures. This article was brought to my attention by one of those "can we have an article like that?" type questions I get from prospects. I won't edit it due to the possible appearance of COI, but I wanted to bring it to your attention. CorporateM (Talk) 19:23, 6 August 2013 (UTC)

Sydney September 2013 edit-a-thon invite[edit]

Hi there! You are cordially invited to an edit-a-thon this Saturday (21 September) in Sydney at the State Library of New South Wales (SLNSW), where you can collaborate with other Wikipedians throughout the day. Andy Carr, a senior librarian at SLNSW will also be helping out. The theme of the edit-a-thon is paralympics sports, but you are free to come along to meet other wiki contributors, and edit other topics.

If you are unable to attend in person, we will also be collaborating online. Details and an attendee list are at Wikipedia:Meetup/Sydney/September 2013. Hope you can make it! John Vandenberg 09:44, 19 September 2013 (UTC)
