[edit] Template for deletion
Friendly heads-up {{Imagemap}} is deprecated and nominated for deletion. It has been superceded by changes to the File namespace and I wanted to let you know, since you have a transclusion on your userpage or user talk. If you need to respond to this message, please do so on my talk. —Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 21:45, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned non-free image File:Idee tineye logo.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Idee tineye logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media). If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Cloudbound (talk) 22:52, 22 April 2010 (UTC)
[edit] Jack L. Rives
I see that you had previously written a draft of an article for Lt. Gen. Jack L. Rives, but I wanted to let you know that I wrote an article as well. I'd appreciate it if you could give it a read! Madcoverboy (talk) 20:40, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for your time and effort, looks fine. You were faster ... --Scriberius (talk) 10:28, 6 May 2010 (UTC)

[edit] Translation request -- "Ich war ein Futurist!"
As a member of the WP:MUC language translation task force, I'd like to ask you for your assistance in a simple translation. I'd like to understand this Billy idol interview, "Ich war ein Futurist!". This isn't really related to Munich, but I have trouble finding editor's specifically willing to work with translations, so anyone who seems remotely interested would be of help to me. Specifically, I'd like to find out what content in it relates to the musician's 1993 Cyberpunk album, so that I could incorporate it into that article space. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated!--Cast (talk) 01:53, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
- It means "I was a visionary" or something like that, maybe he meant it in the way he was looking to the future ... Maybe you ask someone who knows about his bio because this may be of importance to understand this statement. BTW The interview can only be read for registered users. --Scriberius (talk) 10:56, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
-
- Pardon, I know what the article title means, and what a futurist is. I know enough basic German to understand that, and I understand know his history enough to understand that he is referring to his forward looking phase in the 1999s, during his creation of the Cyberpunk album. What I want to know now is what the whole article means. And further, I can read the article just fine without registering. If you would be interested in translating the whole article for me, I could email the full text to you. --Cast (talk) 11:17, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
[edit] You are now a Reviewer
Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.
When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.
If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 18:33, 19 June 2010 (UTC)
[edit] Art of Italy template
The creators of templates like that need to decide whether they want templates or whether they want articles. Whoever created it had no thought whatsoever as to the way such a massive conglomeration effects the format of the article into which it is placed.
For a start, the reader is forced to look at a series of pics that are not those chosen to accompany the text. They are those chosen by the template creator. The pics that belong in the text then have to be crammed in beside the template or put below it.
This type of template is a flipping, flaming, blinking, blooming nuisance. (Please replace that string of adjectives with all the worst ones in your vocabulary).
Templates that take the form of a list have no reason to be spread out down the side of the page. Templates that serve a really useful purpose and do their job well are these:

- Thanks for your reply. I admit, some templates are really big and overloaded. My concern was not to remove template inclusion from single articles while others are untouched. Could we discuss that matter on a broader basis? Thanks & See you around, --Scriberius (talk) 11

[edit] PBI
PBI no longer exist in Sturgeon Bay. The shipyard closed in 1996, and their offices on 3rd are now vacant and the building is for sale.
CypherC (talk) 03:05, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks, I will take that into consideration during future categorizations. Greetings, --Scriberius (talk) 15:48, 14 July 2010 (UTC)

Category:Sculptures in Italy, which you created, has been nominated for deletion, merging, or renaming. If you would like to participate in the discussion, you are invited to add your comments at the category's entry on the Categories for discussion page. Thank you. Cgingold (talk) 02:16, 17 July 2010 (UTC)[edit] Proposed deletion of Mustek Systems
The article Mustek Systems has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Company does not appear to be notable - quick Google reveals only trivial third-party references to Mustek.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Taiwantaffy (talk) 06:13, 23 July 2010 (UTC)
[edit] Proposed deletion of Backup (tactical)
The article Backup (tactical) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

[edit] Poma
Not sure how you did it, but your use of HotCat on Poma didn't work right. I reverted it because it made no sense. Please try again. —EncMstr (talk) 19:30, 26 December 2010 (UTC)
- I have added the category manually. Don't understand why it was red (already 4 years old). It works fine now. --Scriberius (talk) 17:44, 27 December 2010 (UTC)

- Submission of inappropriate material may lead to its removal
- You may wish to display the {{Autopatrolled}} top icon and/or the {{User wikipedia/autopatrolled}} userbox on your user page
