Welcome[edit]

Hello, Simpsonguy1987, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your edits to the page Pulp Fiction have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may be removed if they have not yet been. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. As well, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  RepublicanJacobiteTheFortyFive 01:18, 22 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article List of 2012 box office number-one films in Canada has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unless the creator can show us that he has a working time machine, none of this information belongs on Wikipedia at this time.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.  Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 03:03, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as List of 2012 box office number-one films in Canada, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.  Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 03:03, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Invitation to wikiFeed[edit]

Hello Simpsonguy1987,

I'm part of a team that is researching ways to help Wikipedia editors find interesting content to contribute to Wikipedia. More specifically, we are investigating whether content from news sources can be used to enhance Wikipedia editing. We have created a tool, called wikiFeed, that allows you to specify Twitter and/or RSS feeds from news sources that are interesting to you. wikiFeed then helps you make connections between those feeds and Wikipedia articles. We believe that using this tool may be a lot of fun, and may help you come up with some ideas on how to contribute to Wikipedia in ways that interest you. Please participate! To do so, complete this survey and follow this link to our website. Once you're there, click the "create an account" link to get started.

For more information about wikiFeed, visit our project page. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask via my talk page, or by email at wikifeedcc@gmail.com. We appreciate your time and hope you enjoy playing with wikiFeed!

You have been blocked from editing for an indefinite period of time for disruptive editing[edit]

It looks like we are going to have to nuke 20 articles you started for obviously bad data. I've also checked and found that the bulk of your edits, at least recently, have bordered from factually questionable to BLP violation. I'm not sure what you are here for, but it isn't to improve the encyclopedia. Your stealth vandalism did manage to slide under the radar for a remarkable period of time, but I'm confident we will be watching those topics more closely now. With that in mind, I am blocking you for an indefinite period of time.

I would recommend any reviewing admin take a look at your deleted contribs and recent editing before considering any review. If you decide you want to appeal this block, you should follow the advice found at WP:GAB. Dennis Brown - 19:15, 13 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
