Orphaned non-free image File:CBMII soundtrack cover.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:CBMII soundtrack cover.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Courcelles 03:07, 24 January 2011 (UTC)

Your GA nomination of The Care Bears' Big Wish Movie[edit]

Hello, I just wanted to introduce myself and let you know I am glad to be reviewing the article The Care Bears' Big Wish Movie you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. Thanks for the heads-up. Too bad I won't be editing the other film pages for quite some time soon, owing to personal and family commitments/distractions/restraints and what-have-you. But if I've got some spare time... --Slgrandson (How's my egg-throwing coleslaw?) 21:58, 2 March 2011 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Kalahari (film)[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article Kalahari (film) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence this film is in production or ever was. Does not meet the notability standards set out in WP:NF

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Problem with Harold Brierley page[edit]

Hello,

I'm new to Wikipedia. I edited my page slightly since you flagged it for speedy deletion. I do not believe it to be blatant advertising. It highlights the history of an important business figure, much like Richard Branson's page or Kenneth Chenault's. I am working on connecting the citations, and there are more to be added.

If you could unflag my post, I would surely appreciate it. And/or if you could point out any further problems with it, it would be of help in editing to meet the guidelines.

Thanks,

Proposal for the Creation of an Animation Barnstar[edit]

Hi, Slgrandson. I noticed that you are a member of the Animation WikiProject and wanted to share a proposal with you. There have been several times that I have wanted to award an Animation Barnstar to a fellow editor, only to be disappointed that one still doesn't exist. The closest thing that we have right now is the Film Barnstar, but this is only applicable in certain situations, since animation can be found in both film and television. I would like to see an Animation Barnstar become a reality; especially since one already exists for the sub-topic of Anime and Manga. In order for this to become official though, a consensus will have to be reached.

If this is something that you would be interested in supporting, then please let me know on my talk page, as I am sending this message to all of the members of the Animation WikiProject and will not be adding each editor's talk page to my watchlist.

I am also looking for someone who would be able to provide a design for the barnstar. If you have any ideas for this, then please do not hesitate to share them with me. :) --Jpcase (talk) 17:37, 8 December 2013 (UTC)

Wikimania 2012 portrait 102 by ragesoss, 2012-07-13.JPG

As you may have already heard, the Wikipedia community lost an invaluable member of the community last month. Adrianne Wadewitz was a feminist scholar of 18th-Century British literature, and a prolific editor of the site. As part of a worldwide series of tributes, New England Wikimedians, in conjunction with local institutions of higher learning, have created three edit-a-thons that will be occurring in May and June. The events are as follows:

Molly Crabapple[edit]

Hello. I've recently been working on the Molly Crabapple article. I notice that Mollycrabapple (talk · contribs) had edited in the past, but instead of being welcomed to this site, you left her a "prod warning".[1] Imagine my surprise to find that at the time, you were a member of Esperanza and part of the "Welcoming committee". Do you always "welcome" new users with warning messages? Viriditas (talk) 02:55, 12 June 2014 (UTC)

Not quite...although welcome messages are sometimes attached for first warnings. It was Stifle (talk · contribs) who left it, and I who reported it. (That was back before I installed TW, which generates the combination I mentioned.) --Slgrandson (How's my egg-throwing coleslaw?) 05:14, 12 June 2014 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of User talk:Davey Beals[edit]

A tag has been placed on User talk:Davey Beals requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.
