Your changes to Foxtel[edit]

Hi there. Thank-you for contributing to Wikipedia. While it may not have been your intention, your recent changes to the Foxtel article were deemed unhelpful and have been removed. The reasons for this are below:

1. Your changes to the movie channel names: The movie channel names were correct, and in the correct capitalisation. This can be seen on the official channel list on the Foxtel website, found here. Please do not alter any more channel names in the Foxtel article without consulting that website.

2. Your changes to Channels 100, 107, and 110: I kept your changes to Channel 100, as it added information. I changed "not available via satellite" to a simple "cable only", as it reduces unnecessary clutter.

Once again, thank-you for contributing :)

Chooks Fresh & Tasty[edit]

A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Chooks Fresh & Tasty, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. -WarthogDemon 22:45, 15 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Win TV[edit]

PLease take a breather, from an outsiders POV you bit really hard when it wasnt necessary. I dropped Aurora a message telling him to discuss major changes first, if there any problems drop me a note I'm more than happy to help resolve them. Gnangarra 13:52, 6 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

With regard to your comments on Talk:WIN Television: Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks will lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. WikiTownsvillian 09:52, 7 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That's ok, but you're able to revert the edit and then discuss, this isn't something to get too worked up about, if you look at my contributions you'll see I have to spend half my time on wikipedia reverting people who make edits which are not helpful, it's just a matter of keeping an eye on your watchlist every so often and clicking on revert if needed. I understand that it can be frustrating but I'm afraid it's part of being a part of wikipedia. Don't give up, but don't let it get to you either, I've been down that track myself and it doesn't go anywhere good. Cheers, WikiTownsvillian 10:24, 7 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wikiproject: Australian Broadcasting[edit]

Gday Smacca,

Thought it might be good to try and coordinate our efforts with like-minded editors.

Wikiproject:Australian Broadcasting (Under Construction)

Nbound (talk) 00:29, 8 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi mate. Does this differ from Wikipedia:WikiProject Australian television? Plenty of members in there (although the Active list would be very out-dated.) -- Smacca | Talk 02:01, 8 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
(Edit: Just had a read of your page. I like it. TV shows are whole other kettle of fish which personally I don't have the time for. Much prefer your group as it only entails the broadcasting and networking side of things. Cheers) -- Smacca | Talk 02:05, 8 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

LCNs[edit]

We seem to both be having a similar discussion about LCNs with Helmboy. I thought it would be useful for you to know that Helmboy is fighting on two fronts (for lack of a better phrase), both in Australia and the UK. I've decided to seek a third opinion to try and seek a resolution between me and him, but it's possible they may take interest in your discussion as well, especially as I've mentioned it once or twice.

If that fails, we may need collude and bring the two conversations together - it would be pointless to reach two different verdicts. Eladkse (talk) 11:25, 21 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

No problem, Eladkse. We'll see what the 3O says. There is a total of 3 members objecting to the change on the Australia list, including myself. Will be interested in seeing what happens. -- Smacca | Talk 11:48, 24 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:11, 24 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

VAST regional news guide channel, the screenshot[edit]

Can you update File:VAST Regional News.jpg to the latest one? Apparently, the screenshot here is from 2016. JSH-alive/talk/cont/mail 14:15, 8 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The slide hasn't changed since 2016 so there would be little point in updating the image. -- Smacca | Talk 16:33, 12 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Didn't know that. Thanks for answer, though. JSH-alive/talk/cont/mail 15:30, 20 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
