Updated Signature[edit]

I have updated my signature, this one has been copied from a user named "Pine". How it looks ? Can't u create a new one for me ?HPD|Talk 09:59, 9 September 2013 (UTC)

Per WP:SIGNATURE, "Impersonating another editor by using his or her… signature is forbidden. Altering the markup code of your signature to make it look substantially like another user's signature may also be considered a form of impersonation." You need to alter it.  drewmunn  talk  10:02, 9 September 2013 (UTC)
Yep! It is mentioned there, but can u create a new signature like that for me ? I mean a signature surrounded by shadows ?HPD|Talk
Not at this time; you need to change your signature now to avoid action being taken against you.  drewmunn  talk  10:10, 9 September 2013 (UTC)
  • Oh, and by the way, when copying parts of my user page, it'd be recommended that you change the parts that are not relevant to you; at the moment, you list previous usernames as "Sonicdrewdriver" and "drewmunn".  drewmunn  talk  10:12, 9 September 2013 (UTC)
Most of the works are Yes check.svg Done. Firstly, altered the signature to previous. Secondly, simply removed your name that has been mistaken by me. Third is a big thing
I assume u have only seen my face in very less resolution in an edited photo. Now, here i uploaded a new image of me taken by my friend in our school. - File:Himanis dp.png HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 10:50, 9 September 2013 (UTC)
"taken by my friend" means it's not your work, is it? This may seem a little pedantic, but you should only upload photos as your work if they are taken and edited by you and nobody else.  drewmunn  talk  11:05, 9 September 2013 (UTC)
Hehe! It literally means that I gave the camera to my friend to take a photo.HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 11:15, 9 September 2013 (UTC)
Which makes the photo their property! You are simply the subject of the shot, and your permission is needed to use the shot elsewhere. However, overall permission belongs to the owner of the image, which is your friend.  drewmunn  talk  11:17, 9 September 2013 (UTC)
So what to do ?HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 11:39, 9 September 2013 (UTC)
Try and gain your friend's permission as the photographer, or upload a self-taken replacement. The initial option is somewhat difficult, as it requires a way of proving they were the photographer, and quite a bit of bureaucratic discussion to ensure it's all legally solid.  drewmunn  talk  11:41, 9 September 2013 (UTC)
Ok! I'll ask my friend about it. Do you know, from today anyone who adds {{Template:User browser:Firefox}} to his/her user box it'll appear with the new Firefox logo. Can u guess why ? It's the magic done by me. TRY IT NOWHPD  talkFace-wink.svg 12:49, 9 September 2013 (UTC)
No, because I don't use Firefox. Anyway, according to the template history, it was a user named O, not you.  drewmunn  talk  12:54, 9 September 2013 (UTC)

Still Wrong[edit]

No! U r fully confused

First I uploaded a new logo of Firefox i.e, File:Mozilla Firefox logo.png, then gone to - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Wikipedians_who_use_Mozilla_Firefox

And assigned the file replacing the old logo in every userboxes created by the users.

Finally if any one will add {{User:Technical 13/Userboxes/Browser|FireFox}} or {{User:Mkdw/Mozilla Firefox}} or {{User:The Raven's Apprentice/Userboxes/User Firefox}} or {{User:KyraVixen/Userboxes/browser:PrefersFirefox}} in any page, the logo will appear. OK ?HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 13:05, 9 September 2013 (UTC)

That's not correct. If you transclude the template at Template:User browser:Firefox, which is the most commonly used template (and the one you linked to in your original post), the image included is File:Mozilla Firefox logo 2013.png, not the one you uploaded.  drewmunn  talk  13:16, 9 September 2013 (UTC)

Userboxes[edit]

Yep! U R Ri8, the template u mentioned doesn't include the file which I've uploaded. But those templates for userboxes includes it:

[ {{User:The Raven's Apprentice/Userboxes/User Firefox}} ]

[ {{User:KyraVixen/Userboxes/browser:PrefersFirefox}} ]

[ {{User:Technical 13/Userboxes/Browser|FireFox}} ]

[ {{User:Technical 13/Userboxes/Browser}} ]

[ {{User:Mkdw/Mozilla Firefox}} ]

Creation[edit]

Create informative article of Android version 4.4 in Android KitKat by removing the redirection tag to the OS's version history.HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 10:09, 10 September 2013 (UTC)

What? Did you mean to write this? If so, please remember to be civil; commanding someone to write an article is not civil. Anyway, I understand very little of the required encyclopaedic information about Android other than some basal knowledge, and that's no good to me when writing about a specific OS. Similarly, I'm nowhere near interested enough to want to put in effort writing an article I'm not interested in. I have an article on the go currently, and I've also got a pretty busy work schedule.  drewmunn  talk  10:16, 10 September 2013 (UTC)

Ready-made Formula[edit]

Hi. Sorry for late reply as I was busy in exams. I just forgot to tell you a great thing, few days ago I've gone through Google, then I found a code that can delete any file, article etc in few minutes. You know most be users here are fools. Instead of adding this code, they add some other codes like speedy deletion. The code is {{db-g7}}

Such a tiny code, but can do a praising work. I guarantee you, once you add this code to anywhere, the next movement that will not be there anymore.

By the help of this I've deleted the article GOM Audio which you have told me to improve it. Some include File:Sony Google Nexus 5 Concept Device Runs Key Lime Pie.PNG, File:Explorelogo.jpg, File:Gom Audio Icon.jpg etc.

Isn't that cool ?HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 09:37, 16 September 2013 (UTC)

You realise that the pages you listed were deleted a long time ago, not by you?  drewmunn  talk  09:40, 16 September 2013 (UTC)
Nope! They were deleted last month or the current ones (may be, I haven't seen clearly). How you thought that I can delete those ? I simply added the code {{db-g7}} in those pages and they were deleted suddenly. Don't u feel surprised ?HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 09:57, 16 September 2013 (UTC)
Of course I'm not surprised, db-g7 is a speedy delete request, so you would know that already if you read the Speedy Delete documentation. There's nothing special about it whatsoever, and users aren't fools for not using it, as it can only be used in certain circumstances; when it applies, it is used.  drewmunn  talk  10:03, 16 September 2013 (UTC)
Ohh! Its a type of speedy deletion. It is applied in urgency. OK, but something I'm missing, I'm currently a member in Wikiproject Microsoft, but what I'm doing ? Nothing is happening in their talk page and no work is there. SO BORING.HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 13:00, 16 September 2013 (UTC)
How am I meant to know? Ask the members of the WikiProject if there are any ongoing tasks, or if they have anything they require assistance with. I'm not a member (and I don't wish to be at this time), so I have no idea what they're up to.  drewmunn  talk  13:02, 16 September 2013 (UTC)
Most of the developing countries still use Windows XP, I wonder how couldn't they upgrade to 7 or 8 ? U can also find out from this site - http://news.softpedia.com/news/Windows-XP-Still-Number-One-in-Eight-Countries-Worldwide-383443.shtml
HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 17:35, 16 September 2013 (UTC)
This isn't news, and it's completely logical: Windows XP was around for a long time, and a large number of machines were designed specifically to run it. Developing countries can't afford to buy all new equipment, and many rely on second hand hardware from more developed countries. It's therefore completely logical that they'd be using XP. A machine designed to run XP will not necessarily run 7 or 8, so even if the owners could afford the software, they'd need to buy new hardware. Unlike the developed world, where a stick of RAM is cheaper than feeding a family for a day, it is not financially viable for computer users to upgrade. It's exactly the same reason that Africans aren't all driving brand new Rolls Royces, or Ethiopians aren't all drinking Perrier. I can afford the latest hardware and software, but a 20 year old in a developing country may not be able to, and most likely won't have the same need of it. Priorities: the need to live outweighs the need to have the Metro interface.  drewmunn  talk  17:50, 16 September 2013 (UTC)
Ah, So that's the matter, developing countries find difficult to afford latest hardware to run latest OS. I'm able to run Windows 8 because my father bought me laptop of new hardware(s) and you are able to run because you can afford it by your salaries.Ok

Another thing do you know that bing search has updated its logo ? I've uploaded the latest logo along with homepage replacing the old in Bing article, please check it in the infobox, if possible edit the .svg logo from white background to transparent.HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 12:48, 17 September 2013 (UTC)

I've uploaded a new version; I've re-traced it using Illustrator to get rid of some of the bumpiness in your trace, and regenerated the text using the font required. My version doesn't have a white background either, so there we go!  drewmunn  talk  13:42, 17 September 2013 (UTC)

Hell[edit]

Within my short-period of absence, everything was changed like hell. Your uploaded image has been reverted to old ones see it - File:Bing logo.svg, I tried to bring it to yours work and uploaded the old logo separately for future use i.e, File:Bing logo (old).svg, but I was unsuccessful, what can I do ? You please see those and resolve the problem.HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 04:16, 19 September 2013 (UTC)

iTunes Remote new version[edit]

Hi Sonic,

Have you tried the new Remote on an iPad? It does really have the view locked in portrait, no matter what the article screenshot shows, which is certainly from the previous version.

Then you want me to change the screenshot too? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pdubewiki (talkcontribs) 12:57, 21 September 2013 (UTC)

I took the screenshot using the current major version, but the latest minor revision does seem to remove this feature. A new upload is currently in progress for the screenshot; could you find a reliable online source that notes this change? If not, stick a {{cn}} on it and I'll look for one later.  drewmunn  talk  13:05, 21 September 2013 (UTC)
Someone has deleted the screenshot of Bing homepage which was used in infobox, and it is currently blank i.e, File:BingHomepage2013.png, would you like to take a screenshot of homepage consisting the latest logo and post it ?HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 04:09, 22 September 2013 (UTC)
If you think it's necessary, feel free to upload one yourself. As for the eponymous image, I've reverted a change you made to the summary where you altered the OS to version 6 after I'd changed it to version 7. I know what OS I'm using, that's why I changed the summary. In future, it would be sensible not to undo a summary change made by the uploader of the current version of an image, as they are likely to know more about the image than you.  drewmunn  talk  07:54, 22 September 2013 (UTC)

Commons[edit]

So my exams are over. But it seems that many things have been changed in my absence, is it bad to add a screenshot of latest version of anything replacing the old one ? Days ago as I use Win 8, I've updated the all the apps, I found the Xbox Music app has been updated to a new stylish look. I thought of Wikipedia, then I took a screenshot of both Music and Photo app running side-by-side and replaced with the old ones in File:Windows 8 - Xbox Music and Photos together.png.HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 10:22, 26 September 2013 (UTC)

Yes, if it's on the Commons. See this discussion on my commons talk page.  drewmunn  talk  10:46, 26 September 2013 (UTC)
The thing is not about the Bing logo, u take care of it yourself. I'm talking about my image which was reverted due to guilty. I'm sorry that I forgotten to mention all the lines above, u please go to File:Windows 8 - Xbox Music and Photos together.png and see the "File history". She said that it's her image and no one should replace it. Isn't this guiltiness ?HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 10:27, 27 September 2013 (UTC)
I'm not talking about specific files. The discussion lists what is and is not allowed during overwriting.  drewmunn  talk  10:37, 27 September 2013 (UTC)
So I uploaded the screenshot separately i.e, File:Xbox Music and Photos together.png, is that correct ?HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 13:09, 27 September 2013 (UTC)

Windows 9[edit]

Don't u think that the time has already came for the restoration of Windows 9 article ?

It seems that the codename along with most of the features has already been confirmed.

See some news about it Google. Few are listed bellow

And many.

HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 11:25, 29 September 2013 (UTC)

I try not to. Also, I think you'll find that Softpedia does not count as the only source required to create an article. It's reliability in General is questioned often, let alone as a sole source for an entire article. I would suggest finding more, reliable, sources to back yourself up, and have this discussion with people who are interested in Microsoft articles. Maybe someone in the Microsoft WikiProject.  drewmunn  talk  14:25, 29 September 2013 (UTC)
Yes, you are right, Softpedia itself couldn't be the sole source of an entire article. Sometimes I also find Softpedia notifying false information (remember about the Windows 8.1 RTM's File Explorer concept I told you). Let us leave it to other users who are associated with Microsoft like User:Codename Lisa. But as a member I would definitely report this matter in talk page of Wikipedia:WikiProject_Microsoft, lets see how users comment regarding this situation.HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 05:32, 30 September 2013 (UTC)
Hi, Drew. I just love this new notification system; it just does not let me miss on all the accusations, the newest of which is being associated with Microsoft! Wikipedia is a lovely place, isn't it? Best regards, Codename Lisa (talk) 09:23, 30 September 2013 (UTC)
'twas only recently that I discovered that I was notified if WikiProjects I'm a member of are invoked, it's great! Himanis: As far as I remember of the Explorer incident, the Softpedia article was correct, but you misinterpreted its content. If you want to ensure it's accepted as a reliable source, you could always ask about it on WP:RSN.  drewmunn  talk  09:27, 30 September 2013 (UTC)
Ok thanks! Please visit the talk page of Wikipedia:WikiProject_Microsoft and see User:Codename Lisa's message, you may also oppose her opinion and support me there or vice-versa and as per the notification system, I find it simply like notification system of Facebook.HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 09:57, 30 September 2013 (UTC)
Your final message there agrees with Lisa's opinion and opposes your original question. Lisa's far more of an expert in the area of Microsoft articles, and her opinion seems both logical and acceptable to me.  drewmunn  talk  10:02, 30 September 2013 (UTC)
I have to agree with her because she told me that these are all rumors as the persons who derive these reports are familiar to the sources, but are not in-charge. But as per her decision, the article will be restored if there will be an announcement by an employee or member of Microsoft Co. as done in Windows 8 and before. What do you think, IF YOU WILL TELL, I CAN RESTORE THE ARTICLE WITHIN A FRACTION OF MINUTES.HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 11:57, 30 September 2013 (UTC)

────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────If I tell what? I've already said I agree with Lisa's points, and defer to the opinions of her and other members of the WikiProject on this matter.  drewmunn  talk  12:02, 30 September 2013 (UTC)

Lets See[edit]

Finally we left it to other users for restoration. Few minutes ago I was online in Twitter suddenly one of your tweet flashed in my screen. Finally I saw you entirely in the photo by rotating it here. You looked bit shy :P

Ok! You have told me to design a signature for me before 16-17 days right ? Where is it ?HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 12:19, 30 September 2013 (UTC)

I can't find record of such a conversation… The fact that I wasn't on Wikipedia much at the time you mentioned leads me to believe it doesn't exist. Regarding the photo, yes that is me (upside down, albeit, do to the rotation of the camera on the jib). I'm not particularly shy; I was, however, unaware I was being recorded at this point, and I was busy being worried that my calculations in the construction of said jib were incorrect (if they were, I would have been single-handedly responsible for the destruction of some quite expensive equipment that doesn't belong to me).  drewmunn  talk  12:28, 30 September 2013 (UTC)
Oh! That's good. Can't you create a signature now for me ? Give it a unique style such that anyone who sees it feels impressed like the current.HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 12:36, 30 September 2013 (UTC)
Not at this time, no. I'm currently trying to complete a couple of projects which require serious attention.  drewmunn  talk  12:38, 30 September 2013 (UTC)
Ok! But don't forget to make it in future, as it may be possible that I may forget about this.HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 12:57, 30 September 2013 (UTC)
I believe civility would dictate you asked me whether I mind making you one when I'm less busy, rather than assuming I will.  drewmunn  talk  13:08, 30 September 2013 (UTC)

Deletion of an image[edit]

A few minutes ago I've got no works with me. So, I was extremely bored. I thought to take a look on articles which teaches us to know basic things about Chinese alphabets. Unknowingly I entered into Sinophone article.

Through that I accidentally entered into Arabophone, Francophone, Hispanophone, collected the information. Lastly for English I couldn't find anything, by searching I fount this article List of countries by English-speaking population.

I was surprised to see that US's population has already crossed UK's population in English. Don't you feel like that ?

Well, I saw an image describing totally false results. i.e, File:Anglospeaking population 2013.png. Totally fake

Do you except that English even exists in countries like France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Denmark etc keeping their own languages aside.

Finally you will surely believe that image is a special kind of shit. Countries like China and Russia only uses Chinese and Russian respectively in every purpose they use, starting from home to government. But it describes that it is still there.

Last but not the least, I'M TOTALLY OVER TO DELETE THAT IMAGE. If you want to correct, then only I'll allow it to keep, else not.HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 14:59, 1 October 2013 (UTC)

Don't delete it, you're wrong. Firstly, it's obvious that the US has a larger population of English-speaking inhabitants than the UK. The UK is a tiny country compared to most others; there are lakes in the US larger than our entire country. Simple statistics state that, even if only a third of their population spoke English, they'd still outnumber UK English speakers easily. Secondly, the data in the image you quotes is completely correct. All of the countries shown have a population who speak English to some degree. English is one of only two languages in the UN (the other being French), so a large number of countries speak it. The only language with more speakers is Mandarin, but due to historical economics, English is still favoured as the MFL of choice around the world. As such, countries including the ones you've listed above all have English-speaking residents.  drewmunn  talk  15:06, 1 October 2013 (UTC)
Ohh! So that image is based on population Ok. Anyways, don't you feel that something is wrong in that image ? Well I found it, some parts of Alaska (US), Russia and Greenland (Denmark) crosses the border of the outline of globe and that Antarctica is quite up from the bellow border. Secondly, maps used to have transparent backgrounds but in this image it is not. See it carefully, this may be the second reason for deletion.HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 15:21, 1 October 2013 (UTC)
The map is entirely correct, including formatting. A transparent background is not necessary in this case, and would most likely detract from the image.  drewmunn  talk  15:30, 1 October 2013 (UTC)
OK! Let it be, but lastly don't forget about my signature, this is the third reminder.HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 15:39, 1 October 2013 (UTC)
Did you read my last note about this? It's not civil to command someone to produce something for you. I have work to do, you know, and this is usually the sort of thing I charge for. I might make you a signature, if I get some spare time, but don't expect it from me.  drewmunn  talk  17:23, 1 October 2013 (UTC)

License[edit]

Ok! You are free, you may make the signature at anytime you are free :)

Can you that what license code should I give if I post this image to Wikipedia ?

It's in Winter lane, Bowman's Hill, Pennsylvania, US. I found this image in internet. HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 13:21, 2 October 2013 (UTC)

You still aren't getting the point, I don't think. I don't need your grace to do my job, not your assumption I'll do you a favour in the future. Anyway, regarding the image, you'd need to contact the owner of the image and get them to release it into the public domain. You can't upload it yourself.  drewmunn  talk  13:25, 2 October 2013 (UTC)
Heennn ? o:O

"I don't need your grace to do my job, not your assumption I'll do you a favour in the future" ? ? ? ?

I couldn't understand anything you said, I only said that "you can make the signature anytime, I'll not force you as there is no urgent requirement of that because Wikipeida will not give us food and money to live. We are just here for fun".

Anyways that line may explain that you don't require my help for your future and I may need it for my future. Isn't it ?HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 13:41, 2 October 2013 (UTC)

VLC Icon[edit]

Ah! After a long break I connected to Wikipedia, as I was busy in preparing my project. Secondly our city was suffering those days due to Phailin resulting in power-cuts high alert.

Anyways, anytime I step out to work on .SVG images, something wrong occurs (like Bing logo). Second one is the icon of VLC, after getting into Wikipedia, I saw that the VLC Icon.svg has been deleted. So, I thought all the templates and users may be suffering, I extracted the icon from Windows installer and forcefully converted it into fine looking .PNG image. After converting it into .SVG, I saw the same thing but it seems that some has vomited over it. Isn't it ? Please see the image here and try to rectify the vomit.HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 06:33, 15 October 2013 (UTC)

In my opinion, the VLC image is not suitable for conversion to SVG. Doing so does not provide any benefits over a PNG, but potentially increases server load completely unnecessarily. Re-upload it as a PNG, and when working with images in the future, don't choose SVG blindly; think about what format you should use. Formats have specific uses, and choosing the wrong one results in subpar quality and slow load times.  drewmunn  talk  06:38, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
Ehhhh! Shitt! I tried to convert that .SVG image 9 times in Format Factory but failed, it says Error in loading file. I don't have the original .PNG image also, if I'll extract it again from the software, it'll take approximately 2-3 hours for me along with high CPU usage up to 93%. I've just uploaded the image replacing the previous one which was deleted and nothing else. Couldn't you download that .SVG file and edit it removing those vomits or converting it to .PNG at last uploading it ?HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 06:55, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
Short answer, no. The artefacts are caused by the limitations if the SVG format and your conversion to it, so the original data is lost. Someone else seems to have corrected the issue themselves, so you needn't worry. In the future, think before converting.  drewmunn  talk  07:00, 15 October 2013 (UTC)

Magic[edit]

Today before 1 hour ago, I sat watching History TV18 channel in TV. I saw someone performing exciting magics.

Previously, scientists claimed that no one can take total control over natural species. But, I was surprised to see that a man by the name Ben Earl along with 5 scientists sat on a table. One of the scientist placed a pot of Venus Fly Trap on the table and another was asked to place a plate of 6 flying insects. What he did, you'll be surprised to see it, the magician took one of the insect in his hand and eat it. Woooh! my mind mind got shocked when I saw that 3 of the scientists found that the plant was chewing the insect. Then the magician cut out the mouth of the plant and tore it to show that it was the real insect which he has eaten. The scientists got amazed. DO YOU THINK ANYONE IN THIS WORLD PERFORM LIKE HIM ?

After the show got over. I suddenly got over over Wikipedia, but I found that there was no article by that name. Ok! I googled it for few minutes, after that I was successful to find the official site of him here. But you'll be shocked to find that there is no information where he was born, where he live but only what he do.

I think he is American, so I created the article as I tagged above by the name Ben Earl only to find more on him. You please check it. Lets see how users edit tagging the birthplace of that man.

Lastly, in the talk page of that article I have copied everything else from the article Dynamo (magician).HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 10:41, 16 October 2013 (UTC)

Firstly, in the world of magic, the trick you describe is very simple. Secondly, it's likely the subject is not notable. You can't just create an article on the merit of being fooled by one of his tricks. Thirdly, your article creation contains no secondary sources, and only one primary one. It is also written in a very promotional way, and uses a lot of hooks where only one is necessary. Finally, you can't rate an article you create on the criteria of all of those categories. I will remove the ratings from the talk page, and begin a deletion nomination on the grounds of lack of notability. If you don't agree with this, you'll need to improve the article, and find a range of reliable sources proving otherwise.  drewmunn  talk  10:50, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
How cud u say its very simple ? A dead object is transferred from human's stomach to the mouth of another living organism, its very surprising, isn't it ?

Next, how about this sources ?

HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 11:26, 16 October 2013 (UTC)

Firstly, no it's not at all surprising. Without seeing the trick, I couldn't comment definitely on the method of its execution, but the point of magic is misdirection. It's likely the fly never entered his mouth, or that there were multiple ones. Secondly, of the sources you've listed, only the Metro is reliable, with tricks being possible. However, two sources (one reliable, one questionable) do not warrant an article, especially as neither give much information on the actual subject.  drewmunn  talk  11:32, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
And another source found on the bing search is reliable

I've removed promotional sentences (as u said) and added simple sentences with tagging 2-3 of the sources above. You please recheck it.HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 11:59, 16 October 2013 (UTC)

Also I've added the episodes along with the descriptions in that article. The source for the episodes is this - http://www.channel4.com/programmes/ben-earl-trick-artist/episode-guide

HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 12:12, 16 October 2013 (UTC)

That's still nowhere near enough. There is nothing about the subject in the article beyond a very non-encyclopaedic opening sentence. Forget the TV show for now, you need proof that the person is notable. If you can find that, you need to make the article out of that. The television show is only one of his exploits. What else has he done? Where was he born? Where did he grow up? What school did he attend? That is the sort of information an article needs, not an episode list.  drewmunn  talk  12:17, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
Yep! Absolutely correct, that person is not notable, so y to stick to his feet ? I've left that entire thing. But as u asked me 3 questions, I'll reply it must as up to me. As per Discovery Press web and his twitter account, first, Ben has devoted his time to learning and fine tuning the skills behind the art of deception. Second, he is English like u as his birthplace is London. Third, I DON'T KNOW. Ok ?
And yes, if u want 2 know more abt him (inc. d 3rd question), proceed to London and meet him.HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 13:16, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
What does "stick to his feet" mean? And I don't want to know the answers to the questions, they're the sort of things you need to include in a biographical article.  drewmunn  talk  13:19, 16 October 2013 (UTC)

Facebook[edit]

It is a translation from Hindi sentence Kisi ke peeche padna which literally means entirely to follow someone or to note each and every activity of that person. Anyways I was just joking, u won't need to visit London.

But today u r caught by me,

I was updating my status in twitter, suddenly I saw that u have updated ur status, while going thru it, I found that u r having accounts of Gmail, Youtube, Google+.

At last, u said me earlier that nobody other than people in ur friend list can access ur Facebook account, isn't it ?

But what is this ?

https://www.facebook.com/munn.drew

Hehe! I'm able to enter into it. Do u know by this process I've found many of my lost friends of my previous school.

Ok friend request already sent, only accept it. HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 16:16, 16 October 2013 (UTC)

My Facebook account can be found, but unless I'm mistaken, you can't see anything about me except some very basic information. As I've said previously, access to what I post of that account is extremely limited, and I will not accept you as a friend. If you're that interested in what I do with my time, continue to read my Twitter feed.  drewmunn  talk  16:23, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
Ok! But what abut LiknedIn ? Whuld u like to join there. I've already joined but I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO THERE. Could u pls tell me ?
Here is my account - http://www.linkedin.com/profile/view?id=248346512&trk=nav_responsive_tab_profile_pic — Preceding unsigned comment added by 115.250.240.215 (talk) 17:12, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
I'm not keen on LinkedIn, so I wouldn't be much use. May I suggest you learn about a social network before joining?  drewmunn  talk  17:15, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
Yep! Suggest HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 17:31, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
See rhetorical question.  drewmunn  talk  17:32, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
Hmmm! Those a type of questions which we use in our daily life to address/inquire a person or to place orders. What's new about it ? HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 17:39, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
Nothing! I used a rhetorical question, and you answered it.  drewmunn  talk  17:40, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
Yeahh! It's a rhetorical question but sorry, I'm unable to get u, u said me that u'll suggest me more about social networks before to join them, Ri8 ? So I said yes you are allowed and now u pushed me on another path by saying that it is a rhetorical question.HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 17:51, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
No, that's not what happened. I suggested that you learn more about a social network before joining it, and I did so in the form of a rhetorical question.  drewmunn  talk  17:53, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
Ah! Oh! Ok! But one thing, u haven't replied to that "License" section above in the talkpage yet. Why ? What do u mean by that ? HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 17:59, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
The phrase "you are free, you may make the signature at anytime you are free" infers that I am working under your grace, which is the opposite of the courtesy you should be showing. If you are asking someone to do something as a favour, it would be more polite to say something like "I would very much appreciate it if you would consider making me a signature at your convenience".  drewmunn  talk  18:28, 16 October 2013 (UTC)
Ohhhh! but its not my fault, we use this type of phrases to our friends or relatives (but not strangers). Ok!
Now, have u seen few screenshots of Android KitKat which has been launched few days ago. Waaaah! Cool and new icons, solid wallpaper, new features, new options to make it more user friendly etc. This time Google will take control over the world by making much profits in Mobile Phone OS sector. — Preceding unsigned comment added by HPD (talkcontribs)
That's fine, it's understandable. As far as KitKat, it does look nicer than past Android OSs. I favour iOS, however, as it makes better use of screen space, and I really like iOS 7, so KitKat still feels watered down to me. Unfortunately for Google, they don't make profits from Android, it's free for vendors to use on their phones. They won't, therefore, make enough money to rule the world just from KitKat. They rely on end-users purchasing content such as apps through the Play store, and advertisers purchasing space within their infrastructure. While Android may have more market share than iOS, it doesn't make anywhere near as much profit.  drewmunn  talk  06:58, 17 October 2013 (UTC)

────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────Yep! iOS 7 too has a better interface and features. Can u do one thing ? In the first trailer of iOS 7 beta, it showed that in that OS, the phone responds to the movement of hand (if tilted) and drives the background image to experience the depth like 3D. Could u please do and tell ? HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 09:07, 17 October 2013 (UTC)

Yes, that is called Parralax, and all iOS 7-compatible devices other than the iPhone 4 support it, and have it enabled by default. There's not much more to be said about it really; the background moves slightly in opposition to the device acceleration, and any open context windows move slightly in parallel with the acceleration.  drewmunn  talk  09:14, 17 October 2013 (UTC)

Bullshits[edit]

In the end of July, we both appointed that we will deploy 8.1 replacing 8. But after 1 month, we switched back to same 8.

In the beginning of September, 8.1 RTM was released with only fixed bugs and nothing else. So we contracted each-other weather to deploy RTM or not, the final answer was no by you and we stayed.

Right ?

And now, It was reported that Micorsoft has currently released the RTM Update not the stable 8.1 even if the company confirmed that the stable will be available today, what the hell is going on ? What kind of shits are these ?

No 8.1 availability for download in Windows Store, Windows Update (control panel) noting. 8.1, Y U NO RELEASE

HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 13:35, 17 October 2013 (UTC)

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. I stated that I would only install 8.1 if I had time to test it. The RTM is what will be released, given to manufacturers. It is now being given out to consumers. Why are you upset by the release of a finished product that you were so keen to install?  drewmunn  talk  14:47, 17 October 2013 (UTC)
No! I'm not upset but bit irritated because Microsoft stated previously that yesterday 8.1 will be available for all 8 users for free in Windows Store for download. But I couldn't find that sort of update nor even the option, I also searched in Windows Update also, but it is not there.
It's there according to everyone I have spoken to, and you should have received a notification informing you. If not, visit this article, and there is a link you can click to invoke the update.  drewmunn  talk  08:02, 18 October 2013 (UTC)

Does your Windows 8's Store or Update provides the option to upgrade to 8.1 ? One of my friend has already upgraded without the loss of Genuine License.HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 07:14, 18 October 2013 (UTC)

I haven't needed to boot into Windows for about a month, so I don't know.  drewmunn  talk  07:20, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
Oh! One thing, where did you saw the Android KitKat screenshot ? Could you provide me the source ? As of me I saw it from Softpedia. HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 07:49, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
See this.  drewmunn  talk  08:02, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
Oh! Yes! But if that "TUTTOANDROID" sticker will not be there in the screen, I would have edited and cropped this image and assigned it in Wikiepdia. Can u do that ? HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 08:19, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
No, because that would be against Wikipedia's guidelines.  drewmunn  talk  09:06, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
Ok! Let it release, wait! It seems that in iOS 7 article the "7" logo i.e File:IOS 7 Logo.png is replaced by simple text logo i.e File:Apple iOS 7 Logo.svg. Why ? The previous one is the original logo, isn't it ? HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 09:29, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
The previous one is a marketing object, like a poster. See the iOS 7 page, where the logo is shown as it is on the article.  drewmunn  talk  09:33, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
Cool! Ah! I also found that OS X Maverics has been released, why don't you use it ? HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 09:52, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
It hasn't been released yet. At the earliest, it will be released on the 22nd.  drewmunn  talk  09:55, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
So u'll upgrade after the release, another thing, after u make the complete installation spend sometime to snipe the entire desktop (inc. default icons) screenshot, save it in .PNG format and post it to me to assign or u can also assign it in Wikipedia replacing the preview one yourself. But remember that preview screenshot has to be deleted after the full release as done in Windows 8. HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 10:18, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
Firstly, yes I will upgrade at release. Secondly, my desktop will not be the default, because it is an upgrade, and my dock and desktop will remain the same as they are currently. Thirdly, this is again an area where it would be more polite to say "would it be possible for you to take a screenshot for use please?" rather than essentially telling me to spend time doing something at a time I've already got to do a lot of things. Finally, the term "snipe" either refers to a type of bird or shooting someone from a long distance. I think the term you were looking for was "screenshot".  drewmunn  talk  10:22, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
Oops! Sorry! But do u know something about Snipping Tool in Win 8 ? That word "snipe" is derived from that only. Yes I was looking for screenshot. Ok! Let it release, but have u heard about Subway Surfers game ? Its my fav game but I couldn't play coz it's only available for iOS and Android. My friend told that the latest one "New Orleans" is cool and interesting. Can u tell how to play that latest game in PC (without touch) ? HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 10:33, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
The word, then, would be "snip", rather than "snipe". As far as playing the game, you could try BlueStacks' App Player. I've never had reason to try it, so I can't tell you how it works, or if its good, but if you type into Google (a really useful tool, you know), "run android apps on pc", that's what comes up.  drewmunn  talk  10:38, 18 October 2013 (UTC)

Igloo[edit]

BlueStacks app player installed successfully but it made my PC run very slow and I also confused with the process to download that. But I've installed that .apk in my uncle's phone and played nicely.

Now the thing is when I opened my account today, I found somewhat like "igloo (updated) | (launch)". I've gone through that, at last I came to know that it is a tool to detect vandalism, got interested and installed that by copying the code mentioned to my monobook.js page. After I cleared the cache

I launched it

But it says

"Welcome to igloo! Please be patient while igloo starts up, as this can take some time. - Checking for usergroups... - Warning: rollback rights are required to use igloo. Loading stopped."

What to do ?HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 17:36, 21 October 2013 (UTC)

I refer you to my above comment: I have never used BlueStacks, so how am I meant to know how to resolve issues with it?  drewmunn  talk  17:58, 21 October 2013 (UTC)

Interstellar poster[edit]

No problem. I've added the link now. - Mainstreammark (talk) 20:14, 21 October 2013 (UTC)

@Mainstreammark: The link you have provided redirects to the URL of the page which is this, where the poster is located. I have changed the Source URL to link which is this and redirects directly to the poster. Drew have made a good judgement. HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 09:53, 22 October 2013 (UTC)

Himanis: I don't fully understand why you've gotten involved, but the URL placed by Mainstreammark was the correct one, and I have reverted to it. Similarly, you then made quite a strange accusation about an image uploaded by Mark being an attack-based BLP, which another user has reverted. What would lead you to make such a claim? Images are not BLPs, and all licensing on said image is completely correct as far as I can see.  drewmunn  talk  10:09, 22 October 2013 (UTC)

Wiki not BlueStacks[edit]

I'm telling about Wikipedia's igloo tool which combats vandalism. I've successfully installed it by copying the specified code to my monobook.js page. U please redirect to this page to know more.

The thing is when I try to launch that, a new tab opens and says

"Welcome to igloo! Please be patient while igloo starts up, as this can take some time.

- Checking for usergroups...

- Warning: rollback rights are required to use igloo. Loading stopped."

What to do now ? HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 10:04, 22 October 2013 (UTC)

The requirements for Igloo specifically sate that you require Rollback privileges. You shouldn't have tried to install it, as you don't have said privileges. The only advice I can give is to remove it. I don't use Igloo, and I'm not going to trawl through the documentation for it, so I can't offer any advice on how to remove it.  drewmunn  talk  10:13, 22 October 2013 (UTC)
Ok! Let it be, Simple! even if it is installed, I'll not launch it.
And why not you replied supporting me in JamesBwatson's talk page ? That user thinks that I'm a joker. HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 10:29, 22 October 2013 (UTC)
Surprisingly, I don't follow the status of every page on Wikipedia, so I didn't know anything was happening on that user's page. I will take a look over it now.  drewmunn  talk  10:32, 22 October 2013 (UTC)
Oh dear. I wrote a very brief edit summary, thinking that it would be clear what I meant, but apparently it wasn't clear enough, and I have been misunderstood. I actually thought that it was so obvious that the file was not "an article about a living person", whether "entirely negative in tone" or not, that the speedy deletion tag must have been a mistake, probably meant to be some other tag, and just a few words saying that it couldn't be meant seriously would clear the mistake up, resulting in a thought such as "Oops, silly me! Ha ha! Well, I'll put my mistake right now. Thanks for pointing it out." Sorry, @HPD:, to have given the impression that I was accusing you of being what you call a "joker". JamesBWatson (talk) 10:50, 22 October 2013 (UTC)
@JamesBWatson: Hehe! It's Ok!HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 10:56, 22 October 2013 (UTC)
I didn't take you summary to be attacking or accusing in any way (it seemed to me a light way to point out a probable mistake). The important thing to take away from this is that Bruce Wayne may consider images of his alter-ego libellous.  drewmunn  talk  10:58, 22 October 2013 (UTC)

How does the new OS in ur PC looks ? Isn't it coooooll ? HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 10:30, 23 October 2013 (UTC)

It is very nice, yes. The functionality and processing power is greatly expanded. I'm currently running a clean install of it on my iMac, and then all my in-use Macs will be running on it.  drewmunn  talk  10:33, 23 October 2013 (UTC)
Oh! So now u r online in your iPad and your MBP is currently engaged in up-gradation of the OS ? Ok! After it snip a screenshot and post it in Wiki HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 11:31, 23 October 2013 (UTC)
I told you before, I've got a lot to do once it's installed. My MacBook is currently updating all of its applications now Mavericks is installed, then I'm rolling my files across and checking compatibility. If there is still no screenshot when my iMac has finished installing, I'll do it from there then, as that will be in default state.  drewmunn  talk  11:36, 23 October 2013 (UTC)
Yaa! Correct that one will be in default state. Between sorry for late as busy watching Man of Steel (film) for second time in 2D. Ahhh! No other films has as much as powerful effects and action scenes like it, as compared to films of any country, Waaah! what a CGI, mind-blowing. I have never got bored out of it. And yes do u know that the film has grossed up to £410964884.01, the highest at its peak. Why don't u watch it ?HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 12:07, 23 October 2013 (UTC)
I reviewed it when it first came out (see here). Although it was good, it was nowhere near the best film, in my opinion.  drewmunn  talk  12:11, 23 October 2013 (UTC)
Hmmm! But what is mind's i ? Are you editing there like Wikipedia ? I remember at first you said that you have designed a concept for the next iPhone (which was currently iPhone 5C and 5S) in it and now also you said that you that film reviewed it there. What's that ? HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 12:59, 23 October 2013 (UTC)
I am mind's i, it's my trade name.  drewmunn  talk  13:08, 23 October 2013 (UTC)

Help Mehh! Plss[edit]

Do u know, few hours ago wen u r absent, I visited the Windows 8 article to see what's new about 8.1. Anyways, I saw that currently there is no .iso images available for the public rather than downloading from store.

Ok! But when I entered into Features new to Windows 8 article, I saw many sentences describing regarding change of features from 8 to 8.1.

I decided lets upload an image to improve visual representation and credit. As I said u earlier that my friend is running 8.1, what I did is, snipped a screenshot of the Calculator app running lively. Cropped it and reduced the resolution to upload it in Wiki.

So my uploaded file is File:Windows 8.1 Calculator.png, after I assigned it in 3 articles, Stefan tagged the file describing something for reviewing or something I don't know.

However, in this page evryone is commenting against me (as I think) to delete that file, but if you support me to fight in this war, it would be great-full. HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 17:16, 24 October 2013 (UTC)

They are not "commenting against" you, they are discussing the threshold of originality. I suggest you leave them to it for now; the outcome will affect only the licensing on the image.  drewmunn  talk  17:31, 24 October 2013 (UTC)
Ok! Fine! I left it. Wait! Before leaving that, I found that you have not commented anything in it. You must comment, no matter you support me or not, that depends entirely on you. But I should say that keep an eye on it as you did in the talk page of OS X Mavericks. HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 17:50, 24 October 2013 (UTC)
I have nothing to say on the matter, so I "must" do nothing.  drewmunn  talk  17:52, 24 October 2013 (UTC)
Actually, what we're discussing is good, because it may actually be ineligible for copyright altogether. ViperSnake151  Talk  20:44, 24 October 2013 (UTC)
I know it is, but I'd rather leave it to those already discussing it as I've had a rather busy day; any potential comments I make this evening would probably be easier to translate into Swahili than coherent English. I suggested Himanis leave it as he didn't seem to fully grasp the topic for discussion, and took it to be some form of attack on his upload, rather than the productive discussion it is.  drewmunn  talk  21:07, 24 October 2013 (UTC)

Just One Thing[edit]

When I visited Microsoft site recently, I found that this site provides direct link to download 8.1 for 8 users. What it does is, when you just put a click on "Get the free update" button there, it suddenly opens the Store, and opens a page where you can click on download that OS.

But the thing is, when I clicked on it, everything goes nicely, the Store opened, but the update page didn't open for me. Why ?

Could u pls sign in into ur 8 OS and perform the same process ? Do it now and tell me. HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 09:59, 25 October 2013 (UTC)

Short answer, no. Long answer, nooooooooo. But really, I'm working, so I'm not swapping OS just to try something out that you could probably resolve by Googling the issue. It's entirely likely you could resolve it by changing the "us" in the URL to "in", so you're on the Indian version of the Windows 8 site. That way, it may open the correct regional store.  drewmunn  talk  10:02, 25 October 2013 (UTC)
Short answer, fail. Long answer, Both Indian and British version couldn't reach at it highest peak for success to me. I faced the same problem. Google and Wikipedia cleared much of my doubts but didn't provided me a solution to download and install. As per Google, 8.1 is only for those devices which have signed compatibility for 8 along with genuine copy, but somewhat for 7 and not for Vista (mine ones is for 7), then a verified Microsoft account is 100% required (mine is totally verified), then it is most essential to check if the IP server provides to download maximum amt of data to download or not. And I find much more there. As per Wiki, 8.1 is only available as download through the store and no .ISO files for the OS is available till now except for the developers in MSDN (coz I thought to download the .ISO file as I did with the Preview). Lastly, for downloading in torrent sites, the seeders and leechers are too less i.e up to 76 - 98.

I think u r currently off from ur job, so y don't u swap to 8 just to check weather it is available to download in UK or not and if possible upgrade it. HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 17:49, 25 October 2013 (UTC)

Because in the UK, it's now dinner time, so I'm about to eat, and I've got a serious amount of reading I need to do afterwards. As I suggested above, you could try Googling it. Then you get your answer, and I get my food (and some peace during which I can read my stacks of PDFs).  drewmunn  talk  17:52, 25 October 2013 (UTC)
As I said above that I've already Googled it and got few answers. But by Yahooing it I found a very huge secret beside the invisibility for downloading of the OS in Store.
The secret is the KB 2871839 update that is very much essential because this update contains programs to enhance the Store. It must be downloaded from the "Windows Update" option of the Control Panel. Here you can find more details about it. If you have installed all of the updates including that and still the update is invisible, this is in front of you, which contains answers related to this situation.
Lastly, before installation, if you wanaa see the step-by-step procedure to upgrade along with the images, see this.
Currently, I'm updating all the components which are required for installation from "Windows Update". Lets see what happens. But you could also try that as you may get that update without any other installations. HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 05:57, 26 October 2013 (UTC)
Thanks, but as I keep my OS up to date in general, I will have this installed anyway. When I get around to installing 8.1, I doubt I'll need a guide for it.  drewmunn  talk  08:06, 26 October 2013 (UTC)
All the updates were installed, and I restarted it. Yes, 8.1 update came in front of the page in Store, when I clicked it, it opened another page allowing it to download. Whoaaaaa! My mind got screwed up when I saw that the update is around 3.63 GB. What the hell ? The preview version was just only 2.8 GB and this one exceeds nearly up to 1 GB than that. I don't have much download limits. No way, I have to stay with 8 unless I get some source to download this update or bring the installation DVD. I'm still hopeful. Now what shall you do ? HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 09:50, 26 October 2013 (UTC)

────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────That's because the final version includes more drivers and suchlike. Download limits are not an issue for me, as I have an unlimited connection; I downloaded Mavericks twice in 24 hours, and that was 5.3GB a time.  drewmunn  talk  09:55, 26 October 2013 (UTC)

Ok! May you have a successful installation of it. And yes, after installation this one will surely come with default start screen, so things became easy, as it was previously decided that a screenshot of 8.1 will be only assigned in "Windows 8.1" section till it finally releases (think of that day when my Preview screenshot was tagged for deletion and the decision was kept). At last the time has came, snip the screenshot, re-size it, finally post it in Wiki or now u can also post it in Mind's i and I'll get it. HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 10:16, 26 October 2013 (UTC)
Part of the point of the removal of the image was also that it is unnecessary. No major changes occurred between 8 and 8.1's Start Screen, and all changes can be explained semantically. There is no screenshot of XP SP1, for instance, because no major visual changes occurred. Similarly, the Start Screen will include all my software in installation, and I'm not going to uninstall the applications I have installed just to take a screenshot that will be removed for failing Fair Use. You seem to have something of a fixation with the uploading of screenshots of everything without first concluding whether or not it's needed or passes the requirements for Fair Use.  drewmunn  talk  10:33, 26 October 2013 (UTC)
Oh! So can't u say simply that it's just like Maverics :) ? Why to write a long sentence :P ? "Not going to uninstall applications" ?????? Have you already upgraded it ? Wow! :o
Yes! 100% right detected ;), I usually pay much attention and full concentration in uploading of images in Wiki and Commons rather than going for editing sentences and correcting errors.
In Commons, I've uploaded 89 images, see this and in Wiki, I've uploaded 93 images, see this.
As I said u already from the very beginning, I upload images to gain my prestige by posting such kinds of files (may be images, screenshots etc) that make people better to understand the articles/templates and to gain knowledge regarding new inventions etc. Why don't you ?
And yes, my recently uploaded files i.e today is File:World GDP, 2012.svg which describes the GDP of UN countries as carried by the World Bank in 2012. How iz it ? HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 17:38, 26 October 2013 (UTC)
It's nothing like Mavericks. And no, I've not upgraded to 8.1, but the point is that it's a minor upgrade. When you perform a minor upgrade in Windows, all of your files and applications remain untouched. Only major upgrades between OSs require you to re-install applications (although with OS X, not even then). I don't upload hundreds of images because I don't think many articles need new images. If they do, and I can provide one with the correct licensing, I will upload one. If not, I won't. I would advise you spend a little more time deciding whether an article needs a screenshot before uploading one. New minor version, for instance (such as 8.1) don't need new screenshots if nothing has changed in them.  drewmunn  talk  18:00, 26 October 2013 (UTC)
OK! I'll decide before uploading images, I'll take care of it. Yes, u haven't commented regarding my new image i.e, File:World GDP, 2012, its in .SVG. I've somewhat learned how to convert Bitmap to Vector. HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 06:24, 27 October 2013 (UTC)

KitKat[edit]

As u know that KitKat has been released, a new user has uploaded a ss of it by cropping an image of Nexus 5's image showing the OS's home screen, here it is & the image is Nexus 5.png.

Firstly, the name of the file is quite unacceptable, as it's the OS, not the phone, but the name is "Nexus 5". Secondly, the file is lacking author's information, categories. Thirdly, there is a visible black border in the left side which makes it untidy. So, few days ago, I've cropped the black border & uploaded it separately changing the name with sufficient license info with much accepted categories, i.e File:Android KitKat screenshot.png.

Then, I found a beautiful image of Nexus 5, i.e Nexus 5.jpg, I cropped that1 & replaced with the previous which I've edited. Few hours later, I saw that my edit has been reverted saying that the deflt ss goes best. So, I reverted my image to the first one & assigned it.

At last, what I saw is, both of the files i.e, this and this has been tagged for deletion. Do u know what's the cause ?? The "Google Experience" launcher is non-free and it's not released under AOSP.

See discussion here for the 1st one & here for the 2nd one.

Finally what I did is removed the entire copyrighted material along with watermark and re-uploaded a fresh one, see it and add your comnts in both the discussion. HPD  talkFace-wink.svg 13:43, 6 November 2013 (UTC)

I'm going to be honest now, I'm not going to get involved. I've recently moved to a new job, and as such I have very little spare time. I'm therefore going to be prioritising what I spend my free time on, and by extension, I'm not going to be spending anywhere near as much time on Wikipedia. What time I do spend will be spent on things I'm really interested in, or I have invested time and energy on in the past.  drewmunn  talk  18:33, 6 November 2013 (UTC)
Yes! Now-a-days, I'm also getting very busy in my work, do you know, nearly after a week, I'm opening my Wikipedia account. I started with only one article i.e Android and every thing seems to be good in my watchlist except that. Also you seem to be replying quite quickly to my message (@ 18:33 UTC on same day) and I'm replying to it after one day. Anyways, I may message you after few weeks if I get sufficient time to edit. Urgent attention[edit]

Hi. Please read my new message which I've sent u through Hangouts, it's very important, a huge case is going to be happened and a strong action is to be taken by me. I couldn't even tweet that message coz it's too long. Some one blamed me in Wikipedia, just see the message by signing into ur Google+ account or by direct link here. Don't forget to reply me, u can do there or through these 3 sources in my signature. HPD (Talk, Facebook me, Tweet me)Face-wink.svg 17:18, 16 November 2013 (UTC)

Wikipedia business stays on Wikipedia. If you have anything to say about people or content, do so on Wikipedia. I don't use Hangouts anyway. (I read your message, and needs to be resolved on Wikipedia, not behind peoples' backs. Also, being called stupid, whilst horrible, is not a "huge case" or "strong action".  drewmunn  talk  20:12, 16 November 2013 (UTC)
If you don't use hangouts then please use it for messages only. I've reported User:Steel to admins for blocking. I wonder how he dares to say me stupid even if I've not done anything to him. The image has been reverted it's Ok! But the comment seriously blames me and I couldn't tackle if someone said me like this. For the report site, see Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism HPD (Talk, Facebook me, Tweet me)Face-wink.svg 09:50, 17 November 2013 (UTC)
I will repeat myself: "I don't use Hangouts".  drewmunn  talk  12:57, 17 November 2013 (UTC)
Fine! But please comment supporting me in that admin intervention page redirecting to the link I mentioned above before my report goes solved. HPD (Talk, Facebook me, Tweet me)Face-wink.svg 17:34, 17 November 2013 (UTC)
I'll refer you to a comment I made a few sections up this page; I'm not going to get involved. The incident is fairly minor, and you don't need support with it. Surprise[edit]

One thing! As I said that I've messaged you through hangouts in previous sec, I thought that you'll definitely ask this question Why you suddenly got into hangouts ? But u didn't. You know why ?

Actually, few days ago from that sec, I've purchased the all new Nexus 5. It just cost INR 29,990 (₤ 299.9). Do u know, u can also edit through it, and with a complete android experience, I'm currently editing through it.

And this is the original home screen of it, the previous ones which are uploaded earlier are quite fake.

Lastly, why don't you have one ? HPD (Talk, Facebook me, Tweet me)Face-wink.svg 10:16, 19 November 2013 (UTC)

Let's start at the beginning: I didn't ask you why because the knowledge would in no way improve my life. I signed up to Yammer the other day. You don't need to know why. Secondly, I don't have a Nexus for a few reasons. I dislike Android (it's a flawed operating system that limits the power of devices running it, it is prone to security flaws, it has so many variants, and software for it is generally less effective than other options), and I don't want one. I have an iPhone 5s on order to replace my BlackBerry (horrible phones, BlackBerries, but needs must), which is, in my view, far superior to any Android (or Windows or Symbian, or any of the other host of mobile OSs) phone available. iOS is far more powerful, makes use of all of the hardware, and has a much better selection of applications whilst being much more secure. The basal structure of the OS is much more solid, and the hardware is used to its best. It's also got iCloud, so I can keep my calendars, notes, and documents synced between all my devices, which makes my work life much easier. I only trust iCloud because I've read all of the information on its end-to-end encryption, and because it works so well at what it does. I understand why people purchase Android phones (they are cheaper, and there are a lot more options available), but the whole ecosystem that surrounds them is contradictory to my aims and requirements in a mobile.  drewmunn  talk  18:09, 19 November 2013 (UTC)

Another surprising thing[edit]

Firstly, you just snatched my words, there is no doubt that people buy android phones because they are cheap and contains much more options. I don't know about the less effective of the software, but it's true that it's quite prone to security flaws. iOS makes the full use of hardware and it performs too fast, but it isn't free and open-sourced, isn't it ?

Secondly, another thing to be noted that, you haven't asked me why I changed my signature suddenly ? Do you know ? Just before 10 days from today, one year has been passed since I'm a Wikipedian and at that time, I decided to design something new to my account, I've updated my user page with a stylish background and much more in both Eng Wiki and Commons; and I've changed my signature in both.

Thirdly, are they looking OK ? I think the user page design is beautiful but the signature isn't acceptable in some instance. Isn't it ? HPD (Talk, Facebook me, Tweet me)Face-wink.svg 10:26, 21 November 2013 (UTC)

iOS is free, and you can copy, alter, and redistribute it for free as well (hence the existence of jailbreaking). I haven't asked you about your signature because, to be frank, it isn't anywhere near highly ranked on my list of knowledge I would like to obtain. Knowing why you've changed it is not of benefit to my life in any way, and I try to prioritise the information I ingest so I don't have a mental breakdown. Similarly, I don't know where my neighbours work, nor the timetable of the bus that passes the end of my road on my way to work.  drewmunn  talk  19:19, 21 November 2013 (UTC)
Correct yourself :), its "neighbors" not "neighbours" (Windows detected a grammatical error and underlined it, so rectified). LOL! I also don't know what is the job of my neighbors, nor the place where our school bus travels to pick children. I even don't know where my elder cousin brothers stay. As far as the signature, I felt sad that due to my lack of HTML knowledge, I depend on others (especially you) for my signature like a beggar. What could I do ? I don't even know how to design a webpage. Can you tell me the codes to copy and paste to assign a beautiful signature. HPD (Talk, Facebook me, Tweet me)Face-wink.svg 14:47, 22 November 2013 (UTC)
Copywriting is part of my job, I think I know how to spell. "Neighbour" is spelt "neighbour". I'm British, I use British English. Your spellcheck is American. I am not American. Anyway, even if it was erroneous, it would be a spelling error, not a grammatical error. One would suggest not relying on your spellcheck, especially when using it to tell someone, part of whose job is to write text, that they can't spell. And no, I can't teach you the basics of web design, it's not simple or fast. If you really want to learn, buy a book about it.  drewmunn  talk  20:42, 22 November 2013 (UTC)
Oh! You mean different people speak different types of English ? May be, you know when I set to install Win 8/7, in the first set-up box it says to select language to proceed, there I find various of Englishes, ex - English (Jamaica) and while installing software too. You may be talking of that, isn't it ?

As of the book, I'm currently studying C++ and its components which is currently being taught in our school, I'll buy the HTML book later when I'll get free time.

Another thing is a very very laughable thing, since you are not involved anymore, I'm just telling you the simple thing.

There exists a British user by the name "Jenova20" (don't tag it) in Eng Wikipedia. When I visited the userpage, I saw the userboxes in the right, I was surprised to see that the user is MALE but having a BOYFRIEND. It's still there, see it. I wonder how many variety of people stays in you country. HPD (Talk, Facebook me, Tweet me)Face-wink.svg 17:45, 23 November 2013 (UTC)

Firstly, every user has a right to know if you are discussing them (hello Jenova20!). Secondly, why be surprised? There are massive homosexual, bisexual, and transgender communities all over the world, and India is one of the more accepting countries. While some institutional discrimination still exists in Britain (along with a large number of uneducated or pseudo-religious people), such variety is welcomed and common. I do hope that your surprise is merely one of cultural confusion, rather than being due to lack of acceptance; I have no patience for people who cannot accept that everyone has a right to live life unimpended, no matter how they are born.  drewmunn  talk  17:53, 23 November 2013 (UTC)

Back then[edit]

Sorry for late! I don't know whether India is one of the most accepting country or not, but I would definitely say that in our locality or in district itself, these don't exist.

Within those days I and Lisa are very busy taking correct decisions regarding the screenshots of Win 7, 8 and 8.1, in which I've been given in-charge for the 8.1 screenshot and Lisa for 7 and 8, so I've edited the 8.1 ss many times to assign a user account icon, lastly under her advice, I've assigned the ss with a nice Wikipetan image in the user account picture space; why don't you take a look over 7 screenshot (uploaded by her) and 8.1 screenshot (uploaded by me) ?

Another thing is just a question, you must be knowing that a new island has been formed near Tokyo, JPN in the Pacific due to natural calamities like volcanic eruption, can you please tell what's the name of that island and what are its current operations going on ? I'm unable to find the detail about that except the info I stated above.

And yes, for the full conversation between us, see my talk page. HPD (Talk, Facebook me, Tweet me)Face-wink.svg 17:40, 25 November 2013 (UTC)

I assure you, they exist. Whether society is accepting enough for them to feel comfortable announcing their homosexuality publically is a different matter. As for the screenshots, I'll refer you back to something I've said multiple times before during the course of such conversations with you: I don't have much time nowadays, and I therefore choose carefully what I get involved in. My looking over two screenshots uploaded by 2 users (not myself) for articles not on my priorities list is not what I'd consider a good use of my time. As for the island, I've heard of it, yes, but only in passing. You'll also find this miraculous tool called Google that should help you find out more if you so wish.  drewmunn  talk  18:00, 25 November 2013 (UTC)
Homosexuality in India, Travel Gay India, Utopia India.
Interesting conversations so far...Just because you don't see something it doesn't mean it's not real...Thanks Jenova20 (email) 20:33, 25 November 2013 (UTC)
I'm glad you found it interesting! Although I'm nowhere near an expert in the subject, it is one that interests me and, as with many things, I assimilate knowledge for the fun of it. Having spoken with people from India, and having seen a few interesting documentaries on the subject (I take it that you will have seen Stephen Fry's recent series), it strikes me that India has something of an indifferent attitude to homosexuality. In my opinion, indifference is much more advanced than most people's attitudes.  drewmunn  talk  22:18, 25 November 2013 (UTC)
It's getting better. They're certainly not as hostile as they were a few years back, but they have a big problem with their marriage culture, just like China. People are pretty much shoehorned into marriage as early as possible, meaning there's some horrendous break ups, domestic abuse and mental torture as one person realises they are gay and has to spend every day with a person they can't love the same. China has a lot of women's groups for this but their culture to marry people off young and deny gays exist is causing it. Evidence if required here, here, and here. It makes for some depressing reading...Marry a woman you can't love or live a lonely life shunned by society in a place where gays feel forced to marry women they don't love to conform to social norms. I think suicide would be a less painful option Jenova20 (email) 22:48, 25 November 2013 (UTC)

New Inventions[edit]

Ah! It seems that its my turn and I'vent replied anything since last 2 days. Well, the sites that Jeniva20 gave is only applicable for Indian states like Mumbai and Delhi, anyways I'm far away from there and in our community, we (may be I) consider gays, lesbians etc like untouchables no matter weather they are American or British or Indian or Japanese, we think they don't deserve any right to deal with us, let them must be imbedded in their own way (unfortunate but true! But its not my fault). Drew pointed 100% correct, we all Indians have different attitude towards those kinds of people, that's why only they keep those things secret. Isn't it Drew ?

But don't be sad Jenova, I'll not take you in that way, rather than a simple friend. Anyways, back to work

Firstly, as you (Jenova) know that I've uploaded a new screenshot of homescreen in my Nexus 5, i.e, Android KitKat original home screen image.png, an user by the name ViperSnake151 stated that the screenshot is only for N5 but not applicable for all phones, even the original upgrade of KitKat for Nexus 4 and all. You could find it here.

And he also uploaded another screenshot of KitKat running in Nexus 4, i.e, Android 4.4 with stock launcher.png, derived from other site mentioned there.

I think something has gone wrong, what do you think Jenova, would you like to involve slightly in this, Drew ? HPD (Talk, Facebook me, Tweet me)Face-wink.svg 17:38, 29 November 2013 (UTC)

Short answer, no. Please re-read my many explanations above, I do not want to get involved with anything here unless I find it highly interesting or I otherwise really want to. I will make that decision, and people are more than welcome to invite me to contribute in areas they think my opinion may be useful. However, you are asking for me to contribute to things that need little to no action at all from anyone, let alone someone who doesn't specialise in the subject of the discussion. It is overwhelmingly unlikely I will ever want to be involved with any of the following topics if I'm invited join them:
  • Content disputes regarding files you upload.
  • Articles or other content to do with Android.
  • Disputes regarding your capabilities as an editor, or choices you have made.
Feel free to ask for my input if it would improve the quality of a Wikipedia article (know, however, I'm unlikely to oblige you unless I too think I'd bring something to the article), but please do not constantly try to engage me in disputes that do not exist (as above), or do not need my input whatsoever.  drewmunn  talk  11:09, 30 November 2013 (UTC)

Urgent action[edit]

OK! OK! Thanks, I'll not ask u to involve anymore.

U would need to delete the above sections urgently or provide the wikicode to me for deleting it, see my 2nd tweet and u'll automatically realize it. It is the only hope for our impression in Wikipedia or else everything would have been messed up. I'll tell u latter why, but currently delete those. HPD (Talk, Facebook me, Tweet me)Face-wink.svg

Hi. I'm not going to delete the sections; I keep everything on my talk page or in my archives (except bot posts) to ensure complete transparency. Secondly, I have no idea what you're talking about in your tweet, it makes no sense. I understand that you seem to be using some form of shortened words, but it is not written in a way I can understand (this has caused problems before, you may remember).  drewmunn  talk  17:52, 5 December 2013 (UTC)
Ohhhhhhh maaaaannnnnnn! Damnnn it! If u don't, then at-least keep them in your archive or compress them as u did in the very beginning, you may also provide the code for deletion as I don't know. As of the tweet, u urself rejected that I shouldn't message u in hangouts and facebook, what can I do ? There iz no way. Some problem occurred, and everything went wrong, first you do, and then I'll definitely tell the entire problem and u'll also realize that I'm doing the best. HPD (Talk, Facebook me, Tweet me)Face-wink.svg 17:38, 6 December 2013 (UTC)
I'll archive it when it reaches 30 days since last edit. As far as collapsing it goes, that I'll do that when I'm at my PC. As far as communicating with me goes, use Wikipedia. Anything that happens here needs to be transparent, and using other media to communicate outside the earshot of other users is not productive.  drewmunn  talk  17:57, 6 December 2013 (UTC)

────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────:It seems that you haven't yet collapsed, well right Face-devil-grin.svg. What to say. So it became final that you will not going to do any of them, right ? May I know who the bastard stopping you from doing just a simple thing in Wikipedia which I suggested. Well, I don't know! I think unless I tell what's happened, the food wouldn't digest, isn't it ? OK! NOW LISTEN -

Someone has fucked my facebook account, deleted some of my friend's comments in my statuses, photos etc, sucked out my shares and unfriended many friends from the entire account. Sad-tpvgames.gif The most important thing is I'm unable to find my few projects which I've posted, as I also use it for work like you. Cry.png Twitter seems to be quite correct, but I think some of my tweets aren't there. Now my mind is screwing hardly WHAT I'LL DO NEXT, WHAT WILL BE MY FUTURE, WHO HAS HACKED IT, WHERE IT HAS BEEN HACKED, WHEN DID THAT SHIT HACKED IT. Currently I'm not in a good mood. I don't know weather to cry or laugh at this situation.

It's only the signature which killed me. Face-angel.svg

NOWWWWW HEEEELLLPP MEEEEEHHHH.

I really have no idea how that related to anything on Wikipedia. And nobody is stopping me from collapsing the sections, I have chosen not to have them collapsed. It is my decision, and as this is my talk page, it is what happens.  drewmunn  talk  12:36, 8 December 2013 (UTC)
But what should I do now ? What of me ? Everything's gone wrong, and I'm hopeless. Should I deactivate my Wikipedia and Twitter account ? Facebook is impossible because I use it for many purposes. I just made that signature in a hope to be friends with Wikipedia users. But the reverse had happened. Also I cant undo to the previous signature as the present is used in many pages and everyone can find it. So, I'm in just with a hope for best. HPD (Talk, Facebook me, Tweet me)Face-wink.svg 17:30, 8 December 2013 (UTC)
Why is it an issue? Deal with the security breach on any accounts you think may be compromised, check you have no malware or other malicious software or hardware that is tracking your connections, and move on. I really don't understand why you think your signature is an issue.  drewmunn  talk  18:39, 8 December 2013 (UTC)
Why not ? This is a serious situation which happened for first time, security breach ? What are they ? I use Quick Heal Total Security, which is a best defender for any types of malwares or viruses etc. I don't use any malicious software, I install only those which are required the most, I used to uninstall low prioritized software by detecting it through Tune-Up Utilities. I think my signature is the issue because I've been Facebook for 4 years (when I was small) till now, but I haven't faced any problems regarding it, that worked fine, but now its not :( another proof is that why Twitter also got viewed by that hacker ?
Also I'm not asking what might have happened, I want what to do so that next time this'll never repeat anymore ? After that, I'll try to find out that hacker. HPD (Talk, Facebook me, Tweet me)Face-wink.svg 12:14, 10 December 2013 (UTC)
Firstly, there is no such thing as "the best defender", each is good at something, but usually lacks in another area. Also, a defence system is only as good as its latest update. Also, if you use an online webmail account, it's entirely likely that was what was compromised rather than your machine. Anyway, all of this aside, there is no way to ensure it doesn't happen again, but you can protect yourself against it by regularly changing your passwords, not using the same password for multiple things, and deleting emails you no longer need. It is also worth ensuring that you don't leave yourself logged in to a webmail or social networking account on any machine that you do not have complete control over (that include any machine you don't use HTTPS to access them with).  drewmunn  talk  17:48, 10 December 2013 (UTC)
Yes Yes! Before I used to use only one password for every account in which I'm active, I read your message and already changed giving a tight password; and also clicked "Log me out of other devices" in Facebook. I think now much thing'll be good. As far as other machines, I always log-out whenever I leave that. I also don't use any other rather than my Nexus or laptop.
Could you mention the next steps that I should do ? HPD (Talk, Facebook me, Tweet me)Face-wink.svg 17:34, 13 December 2013 (UTC)
I'm not your technical support agency, but the advice I will give you is the only thing you will need to stay safe online: use common sense. If you actually think about your security online, then you'll be fine. You don't walk alone down dark alleys in the rough parts of town in the dead of night for fear of being mugged or killed, so apply that theory to your online life as well. Don't click on links you don't trust, download files from sites without checking they are secure, or enter your details without checking site certificates and connections. Relying on an antivirus is the worst way to stay safe.  drewmunn  talk  10:12, 14 December 2013 (UTC)

Drew: Whoa! Two users have already posted me messages in my talk page regarding my latest signature, I seem to remember before 5-6 months, you have said me that you'll really make me a signature in future if I ask you politely, Isn't it ? So, I've done my work, but you didn't, Ok? I don't understand why but I cant copy the codes from other user's as you said that a strong action would be taken against me if I did. But I think that those two messages are more than a strong action. Don't they ? HPD (Talk, Facebook me, Tweet me)Face-wink.svg 17:36, 14 December 2013 (UTC)

Merry Christmas![edit]

Merry Christmas bro!!

Shocking tweet!!![edit]

Since I logged into my twitter a/c, your 25th Dec tweet flashed in my screen, you said that "you are having turkey" on the Christmas eve ? Ohhh! This is amazing! One can't just simply have a very large country under his/her control, have you gone mad ? I kept laughing for 15 mins on your tweet.

Anyways I'm 100% sure that I'm wrong, there's something, who is turkey ? Is that an animal ? HPD (Talk, Facebook me, Tweet me)Face-wink.svg 17:18, 27 December 2013 (UTC)

Firstly, I wrote that on Christmas Day, rather than Christmas Eve. Secondly, see Turkey (bird). Finally, I have not gone mad.  drewmunn  talk  17:59, 27 December 2013 (UTC)
Oh! It is! And I've not seen that kind of birds in my life time, only some of our people celebrate Christmas here as most of us are Hindus and follow Hinduism. So I don't know. Anyways can I upload a photo of our city covered with snow ? Or it'll be deleted, actually I don't have it, I've to Google and upload as the nature is breath-taking when in our city when the season is winter. Lastly, have you ever seen snowfall in your life ? Does any snowfall occur in your place ? HPD (Talk, Facebook me, Tweet me)Face-wink.svg 11:06, 28 December 2013 (UTC)
Turkey is a traditional Christmas (and Thanksgiving) meat in many countries. And yes, I've seen snow; I live in the UK, where we usually have at least one snowstorm a year (usually resulting in a few days off of work). Also, I go skiing occasionally, a sport for which snow is traditionally mandatory.  drewmunn  talk  11:54, 28 December 2013 (UTC)
Yeah! I also did skiing when I was a child in Manali. Many foreigners come to practice there every year. As far as Christmas, we people don't know much about that also about Christianity, majority of us are Hindus. Anyways there are 2 churches in our city, my brother told that one is for catholics and the other is for protestants. Do you know what they really mean ? In previous classes, I remember that I've studied a little-bit of them that in very past there used to be a great war between them, that's why they are separated. Can you tell me more regarding that ? HPD (Talk, Facebook me, Tweet me)Face-wink.svg 17:33, 29 December 2013 (UTC)
The difference is more semantic in the modern world than it was in the past. However, in some parts of the world, those two branches of Christianity are still somewhat separate. See protestantism and catholicism for more information.  drewmunn  talk  22:30, 3 January 2014 (UTC)

Happy New Year[edit]

So 2013 ended with many ups and downs, starting from the release of blockbuster movies, new OSs, gadgets, cars and bikes, improve in social networking etc to meeting new friends, improving our editing skills, forming new groups.

But it also brought sad movements like the death of Paul Walker, Nelson Mandela to Cyclones like Phailin, Haiyan etc.

Finally, I'd like to conclude that several ups and downs are must in every year but we must be fearless and have faith in divine.

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2014.

New Code[edit]

Today I just designed my signature by my own. What I did is, just read some lines in WP:Signature and took 30mins to design. I got web safe colour from febooti online color pixer and copied into it.

But in between I did some magic, recently one of my friend sent me few codes which will create a beautiful structure in the screen, just it needs to be copied and pasted. Now look @ this design

One imagines I'd need a screen with the exact same resolution, and a browser window with the same dimensions, as you to see that as anything more than many lines of junk. On a more productive note, I'd suggest removing the line of "ฏ๎"s from your signature. They don't add anything aesthetically other than bulk. This may become problematic when you begin using it within other talk pages. Finally. The <font> tag is depreciated, so I'd suggest replacing it with a span. Using depreciated tags can lead to compatibility and accessibility errors.  drewmunn  talk  09:10, 5 January 2014 (UTC)

You closed the tag before you defined its style. Also, the colors are extended beyond necessary, with "#000000" being functionally the same as "#000" (the same applies to the white).  drewmunn  talk  18:52, 5 January 2014 (UTC)

Back After[edit]

Hi! How are you? I'm back after few busy weeks. In those days I've got only 1-2 free hour(s) which I had spent for Facebooking, Twitting and sometimes editing Wikis. And its over.

Yes, as far as signature is concerned, I've Bing-ed it rather than Googling and got new ideas for designing HTML signatures, Bing really helps. The new signature is bellow.

Another thing is that, have you ever marked within those days that the view of articles/pages in Wiki are quite changed? Well, I'm experiencing that now-a-days even after I've cleared my cache and cookies many-a-times. This really looks ugly and untidy. What should I do to make it normal as before?

This screenshot'll help you - https://twitter.com/HimanisPinnu/status/426731351656517632/photo/1

Deactivating account[edit]

I just got bored out of editing in such a horrible appearance(see "Back After" section), I've also googled my issue, but unable to find any solutions. Finally, I would like to deactivate my account as it is not going interesting anymore as it was in the begining, hope I'll join in future. But currently I may remain unavailable. And now I'm off to twitter. HPD Talk 13:02, 1 February 2014 (UTC)

New Discovery!!!![edit]

Hi! After so many days, I worked hard to find the main fault behind such untidy appearance as I stated before.

Actually, the main reason is that at first I've all the Beta features enabled in my account by default. Those features can be accessed on the right-hand side and is present in between Preferences and Watchlist, but I've paid no attention to that and kept on searching for solutions blindly.

At last, I accidentally clicked that button and found a lot of features inside it, the main feature which is causing such type of appearances is Typography refresh, many users have also commented against it (see discussion page) and most of them disabled it.

So, finally, I unchecked it and now I can enjoy editing Wikipedia as earlier.

I conclude - People those who use beta or alpha versions/features of any applications or software are likely to face several bugs or malfunctioning of that product. And it's better to use stable rather than beta or alpha.
