[edit] Publisher automation problems
Hi Spencer,
Could you respond to a bug report that I think originates from Citation bot's use of your publisher automation?
Thanks,
Martin (Smith609 – Talk) 14:31, 7 June 2010 (UTC)
- Bugs with the publisher autodetection have led to the bot being blocked, so I have stopped it from calling your API. Please let me know when you have been able to address these bugs, so that I can re-enable the API. Thanks, Martin (Smith609 – Talk) 08:40, 3 July 2010 (UTC)
[edit] You are now a Reviewer
Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.
When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.
If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 21:17, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
[edit] File permission problem with File:Juicebox.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Juicebox.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en
wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en
wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Vanjagenije (talk) 00:40, 29 June 2010 (UTC)
I started a discussion on the Draining of the Qurna Marshes talk page regarding your recent edits on that article. I don't agree with some of the edits want to revert them or come to a better consensus on what to do with the articles on Iraq's marshes. --NortyNort (Holla) 16:44, 1 August 2010 (UTC)
[edit] START
Hi,
I have nominated START natural language system for speedy del. Copyright issues are the first reason, but there are other issues, e.g. notability and advertisement.
You are the only editor who contributed to this page and is still wiki-active, so please comment if you have objections.

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Uvic caf.JPG, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. [edit] Re Rossi
[edit] Proposed deletion of Andrea Rossi (entrepreneur)
The article Andrea Rossi (entrepreneur) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- The article is largely sourced from an article apparently written by Rossi himself, in the New Energy Times (not itself WP:RS). The article does little to indicate that Rossi himself is notable by Wikipedia standards, and contains synthesis, original research, and other questionable material
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. [edit] Disambiguation link notification
Hi. When you recently edited HTML5 Audio, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Audio processing and Speech to text (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
