Well i am mostly active on slovenian wiki. I was doing an article about Bill Vukovich and that's how i noticed he wasn't on the list. --Sporti 13:27, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

AutoWikiBrowser

Thank you for your recent application to use AutoWikiBrowser. Regrettably, I have declined your request as you do not have 500 mainspace edits. You are welcome to apply again at a later time. Feel free to contact me with any questions, Alphachimp 06:01, 23 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

FIBA european cup articles

I don't know what you're talking about...seriously. Did you translate the articles to slovenian? nice work.--ArnoldPettybone 14:59, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

ok. I copied it from another location which I know don't remember. Thanx anyway, and don't forget to ass English language links to the European cup seasons on the wiki Slovenian site.--ArnoldPettybone 19:45, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Editing accidents

Hi. Well done on all the interwiki work you are doing! Just a quick word of caution though. I realise that you are moving many of the tables over as well, but can you be sure to copy and not cut the data from the English pages, such as happened here! Thanks. Bye for now. Lewis Hamilton's Gearbox

Just to let you know even the journalist who wrote that story now admits its not true (see [1]) so I have removed all reference to it from the article as I don't think its relevant. Please let me know if you disagree. Thanks. Kelpin 14:55, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Youngest triple World Champion

I saw your edit on List of Formula One driver records#Other driver records and realized I had completely forgot to calculate the ages of the 4+ championship drivers at the time of their 3rd championship win (to the last race of the season). But, as you also conclude, Senna is still the youngest, but Schumacher is 2nd with 31 years and 293 days. Go Kimi, you can still have this record (in 2–3 years time) ;-) Best regards, Fred Bradstadt 11:54, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Jochen Mass

Hi Sporti. I had a question about the caption for the photo you recently added to the Jochen Mass article: "Cevert with Ford Capri Turbo at Nürburgring in 1980]]" - did you accidentally write "Cevert" instead of "Mass"? Or is it a car that was shared by Mass and Cevert? Thanks. DH85868993 (talk) 02:04, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes its Mass, copy&paste mistake. --Sporti (talk) 07:38, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Greg Kuznik

Don't mess with articles like Greg Kuznik, moving them without discussion and without any references to a spelling contrary to the sources. Gene Nygaard (talk) 01:29, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Didn't know u need a source for the name. There are many sources, but all in Slovenian lang. like [2]. --Sporti (talk) 07:36, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
But this guy has always lived in Canada, played in Canada or the United States, and all the English sources spell it Kuznik. Though our rules are based on how he is generally known and not on some "birth name" notion, he was born in Canada with a Canadian name, so we need some English sources to show that his name is anything other than Kuznik; the ž is almost never used in English. Even the sl:Greg Kužnik article which has transliterated his name to include a z uses only a source with the Kuznik spelling[3]. Gene Nygaard (talk) 13:33, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Eurohockey.net that u link doesn't use characters like š, č, ć or ž, but his Jersey says Kužnik. The fact hat he lives in Canada doesnt change his last name. Miroslav Šatan's name in most english newspapers is written as Miroslav Satan, or Kimi Räikkönen's as Kimi Raikkonen, but the articles are at their propers names. --Sporti (talk) 14:01, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You are invited to join WikiProject Intertranswiki and join Wikipedia:WikiProject Intertranswiki/Slovenian. It is intended to be a joint group between Intertranswiki and WikiProject Slovenia of which you are already a part of The aim is to draw up a directory of missing articles from Slovenian wikipedia, extract what is notable or suitable, and build a team of translators to work at bridging the gaps in knowledge between other wikipedias. Even if you can't contribute much in starting content, your help is much needed to help draw up detailed lists of missing articles for Slovenia in the new project space and help other editors work through lists to build content more fully.
