  • I now sent a request on the talk page. From the title alone, this show qualifies for inclusion in the "Category:Fictional versions of real people." Thanks! Ssredg (talk) 02:36, 18 June 2012 (UTC)
Cancelled my request. Wrong kind of show! Ssredg (talk) 03:09, 18 June 2012 (UTC)

Thank you for your contributions. Please remember to mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Seinfeld, as "minor" only if they truly are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes, or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Elizium23 (talk) 02:48, 18 June 2012 (UTC)

  • Oops! Sorry, I keep forgetting to uncheck the box. Thanks for the heads up! Ssredg (talk) 02:50, 18 June 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Monastery of Megali Panagia[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Monastery of Megali Panagia requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Elizium23 (talk) 03:54, 18 June 2012 (UTC)

Maybe we can just cancel the article but keep the disambiguation page that originally linked to it. Thanks! Ssredg (talk) 04:04, 18 June 2012 (UTC)

Edit summaries[edit]

Hi Ssredg! Thanks for picking up some problems on Salina Area Technical College, but it seems you were mistakenly reverted and given a warning. Don't worry about it - the edits were fine and much needed. :) However, I think what may have happened is that you weren't adding edit summaries on all of you edits, so a fast-moving patroller only saw that content was removed, without realising that it was a good call on your part. As a suggestion, you might want to set the "Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" option on in your editing preferences - I use that, so that WP will prompt me to add a summary when I forget, as it helps avoid misunderstandings. - Bilby (talk) 10:00, 18 June 2012 (UTC)

Yes, that's exactly what I missed. Thanks!Ssredg (talk) 10:10, 18 June 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for November 25[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Palm Springs International Airport, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Airside (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:14, 25 November 2013 (UTC)

Forgot about that! Thanks for the correction. Ssredg (talk) 17:33, 25 November 2013 (UTC)

File permission problem with File:PSP Airside.jpeg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:PSP Airside.jpeg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 13:49, 4 December 2013 (UTC)

Information icon Please do not attack other editors, as you did on Talk:Justin Bieber. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Δρ.Κ. λόγοςπράξις 03:55, 25 January 2014 (UTC)

"Personal attacks damage the community and deter users." As do improper revert's and deletions. Am I right? Ssredg (talk) 16:53, 25 January 2014 (UTC)
"Do not make personal attacks anywhere in Wikipedia. Comment on content, not on the contributor." This is a site-wide policy, WP:NPA
Additionally, "Any material that needs a source but does not have one may be removed." WP:V
A small amount of research would have either turned up reliable sources or convinced you that there aren't any. This might have been a productive approach for you to try. - SummerPhD (talk) 21:12, 25 January 2014 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:ICT runway map.png[edit]

A tag has been placed on File:ICT runway map.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. —Cliffb (talk) 06:46, 12 October 2014 (UTC)
