DOVO (Razors)

Hi, Christiaan. Can you explain what DOVO, the razor company is? If it is a razor company, you may want to start an article on DOVO as other people may be so unfamiliar with it that it gets deleted. Steelbeard1 22:34, 23 February 2006 (UTC)

I moved "Citizens banking corporation" to Citizens Banking Corporation (correct capitalization) and then noticed you also created an apparently identical article named "Citizens Banking Corp." The proper solution is not to have two separate articles on the same topic but to redirect one page to the other. I'm reposting this (which had been on my talk page) to cover all the bases regarding my edit and a possible conflict on the station's ownership between Gross and Young. Here is the text of a New York Times summary dated July 20, 1983 announcing Gross's sale of WJIM-TV to Universal Communications aka Unicom aka Backe Communications (all one in the same).

The Universal Communications Corporation has agreed to buy two television stations - WJIM-TV in Lansing, Mich., and WKBT-TV in La-Crosse, Wis. - from Gross Telecasting Inc. of Lansing for $45 million in cash.

Universal, which is owned by Forstmann Little & Company and a former CBS president, John D. Backe, announced previously that it plans to become a broad-based communications company. Recently it acquired WRGB-TV of Schenectady, N.Y., from the General Electric Broadcasting Company.

Project news Since the Project began on the 4th March, 14 new articles that we know of have been created - to see a list and add any we didn't know about, visit the Project Log. We've had 2 front-page appearances, with Carl Lindstrom Company and Souvenir of Their Visit to America being listed in Did You Know? We've got underway classifying our articles and building a first class Project infrastructure.	Some project tips Stick the following template {{Template:WPBeatles}} on relevant articles. We have 500+ already but may have missed some! Use British/English grammar and spelling per Policy A few moments checking other editors contributions is always appreciated. Don't be shy on using the talk pages. It's where a lot of stuff gets decided. From the Editors Welcome to the inaugural issue of The Beatles WikiProject's newsletter! We hope that this newsletter will help members—especially those who may be unable to keep up with some of the rapid developments that tend to occur—find new things to do within the project that they may wish to participate in.
