Detection theory[edit]
I don't know why you're insisting on deleting a valid link to detection theory on the information theory article. You don't appear to have been around here long so I'm seriously hope you're not deleting red links on other pages when you see them. There's no policy on deleting red links that I know of.
Leave the link as it will be an article sometime shortly (and no, there's no reason I have to wait until after it's created to link it). Detection and estimation theory go hand in hand. Cburnett 04:44, 9 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- I just find it annoying to be told in an article to go look for something somewhere and find nothing there. If you're going to create it, please do so. However, while you may think detection and estimation theory go hand in hand (which I will not dispute), neither one is essential to understanding information theory, and that is what the page is about.
