Some cookies to welcome you! Face-grin.svg

Welcome to Wikipedia, TayyabSaeed! I am Calaka and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

Fair use rationale for File:You Can't Scare Me! Original.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:You Can't Scare Me! Original.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. FASTILYsock (TALK) 06:51, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

Re:File:You Can't Scare Me! Original.jpg[edit]

Hi TayyabSaeed. The Fair use rationale and licence tag for File:You Can't Scare Me! Original.jpg look great! I can see no further issues. Cheers, FASTILY (TALK) 21:53, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Thirteen More Tales and Thirteen Again[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The articles Thirteen More Tales and Thirteen Again have been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unsourced, no indication of notability.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletions by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the articles to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. AJCham 04:26, 9 November 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of The Raven Woman[edit]

Ambox warning pn.svg

A tag has been placed on The Raven Woman requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Articles of books etc.[edit]

Hey there, might I say good job on the articles you are creating and I am glad you are filing a gap in Wikipedias content. But may I ask that you add references to each and every article you make? This would prevent from someone looking at the article and placing them up for deletion (you wouldn't want that!), so hopefully you can find some around. By references I mean of course books/magazines/articles/newspaper articles etc. that talk about the book as a review or more generally a particular series in general. Cheers and happy editing.Calaka (talk) 09:28, 21 November 2009 (UTC)

A few more points: remember to give the date of the book and the author's name in each article. And when you add them to disambiguation pages (well done for remembering to do that in most cases, though you didn't add the necessary "hatnote" for Halloween Party, which I've now done), please note the exact format to use: [[The Sleepwalker (Fear Street)|''The Sleepwalker'' (Fear Street)]] which looks like The Sleepwalker (Fear Street), so that the full article name is displayed, complete with the disambiguation phrase (the bit in brackets), but the book title is in italics. In general, please add more content to all these stub articles to show why the books are notable enough to have Wikipedia articles. Thanks. PamD (talk) 09:08, 22 November 2009 (UTC)
And if the title starts with "The" or "A" or "An", add a "defaultsort" so that in any A-Z listing it goes under the main word - like {{DEFAULTSORT:Stepsister}}. PamD (talk) 09:18, 22 November 2009 (UTC)
Are you reading our advice? You've just created The Shrimp without giving it a sortkey, and without mentioning the date of publication. You also over-wrote an existing redirect which pointed people to Shrimp (disambiguation): don't do that without adding a "hatnote" which offers the same linkage, as I've now done for that article. And, as asked above, please give references to show where the books have been written about, to justify them as sufficiently notable to have a Wikipedia article. In this case, it turns out that it won a prize - but you should have added that, not me! PamD (talk) 13:48, 26 November 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Lights Out (Fear Street)[edit]

Ambox warning pn.svg

A tag has been placed on Lights Out (Fear Street) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

Speedy deletion nomination of The Secret Bedroom[edit]

Ambox warning pn.svg

A tag has been placed on The Secret Bedroom requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

Proposed deletion of The Secret Bedroom[edit]

Creating articles on RL Stein books[edit]

Hi! I'm really glad that you want to improve the Wikipedia articles about mystery stories. However, some of the articles you have created look a little troublesome. I proposed The Secret Bedroom for deletion, because I can't find any sources that demonstrate that it is notable on its own. If you can find them, feel free to add to the article and remove the proposed deletion template. Otherwise, you might consider improving the R. L. Stein article instead. — ækTalk —Preceding undated comment added 09:40, 22 November 2009 (UTC).

A New Fear[edit]

Copyright-problem.svg

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of A New Fear, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.shop.com/A_New_Fear_(Fear_Street_Saga_1)_(Books)-249646235-287784646-p!.shtml. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 14:34, 24 November 2009 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Space Cadets (trilogy)[edit]

An editor has nominated Space Cadets (trilogy), an article which you have created or worked on, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Space Cadets (trilogy) and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Nsk92 (talk) 18:30, 18 July 2010 (UTC)
