The King Arthur Project has begun a collaboration to bring its main article, King Arthur, to WP:FA status. If you wish to contribute, please review the to-do list on its talk page. Let's make this article an FA! Wrad 03:28, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Saturdays warrior.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Saturdays warrior.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. [edit] Proposed Changes to the article Book of Mormon
Hello Tea and crumpets:
I'm putting this note here because I saw your name in the edit history of the Book of Mormon article. There have been two "batches" of changes to the article recently. As I explained in the Talk, I reversed these changes, not because of the substance of the changes but because of the "process". Talk:Book of Mormon#Reversal of Changes
I'm hoping you and others will look at the substance of these changes. I don't want the people who made the changes to think their efforts were reversed and then simply ignored. (And I'm not able to comment seriously on the proposed changes.)
The two batches of changes I'm referring to are the ones made on December 15 by 24.2.75.193, and on December 17 by DJ Clayworth. (Because the changes were reversed, the best place to see them is through the article history.)
Thank you, Wanderer57 (talk) 18:44, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
PS You may find this amusing. I saw your note "I am an autodidact" and thought, "I wonder what that is, maybe that's something I should take up".
So I followed the link and realized that autodidactism was one thing I could not take a course to learn. W

[edit] Help please
Hello! Can you constructively help me with this? I am slightly completely unprepared for it. I got the first question by my self, then the tough question that I don't know the answers to came, so that is why I need help... Thanks for your help! Sincerely, Sir Intellegence - smartr tahn eaver!!!! 21:07, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Portal:Africa Image
Hi. I just wanted to thank you for your support on the Africa Portal image. I made it because i think portals have the potential to look more attractive. Of course some people totally disagree. User CJ for instance has been chasing my works on the base of copyrights for the wikipedia logo. Which I have found baseless since i am not using it for commercial purposes or outside the wikipedia. The logo is being added within the Wikipedia and i do not see how it infringes any copyright. I have some other images in the Asia portal and the Latin America portal. I will be adding more images to the other portals whenever I have time. The Europe portal became a controversy because another user wanted to add his. I lost the feud because some comments found my banner a little unreadable and I totally respect those opinions. Anyway thanks.Camilo Sanchez (talk) 19:51, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Redflags.svg
Bulgaria definitely has red in its flag. The red originates from the Pan-Slavic colours - red, blue and white, but in the Bulgarian falg the blue has been replaced by green. Could you possibly fix the image? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.36.9.144 (talk) 15:58, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject Years
WikiProject Years is currently developing a guideline for the inclusion of events in year articles, especially more recent years such as 2009 (see Wikipedia:WikiProject Years/Recent Year guidlines draft). Please have a look and offer suggestions. Recent year articles are consistently among the most edited on Wikipedia and are surrounded with controversy, as everyone believes their event is "notable enough" to be listed in the main year article. We need objective criteria which will (hopefully) alleviate the controversy a bit.
Important policy discussions took place in January 2009 at Wikipedia talk:Manual of Style (dates and numbers) and at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Years.

[edit] File:Jungledrums2.JPG listed for deletion
An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, File:Jungledrums2.JPG, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. [edit] Request for tagging WP:Energy categories
Hi. As a participant of the WP:Energy, I would like to ask you to comment the request for tagging WP:Energy articles by bot. The list of potential categories for tagging is located here and the discussion about which categories should be excluded from this list, is going on at the WP:Energy talkpage here. Your comments are welcome. Beagel (talk) 12:03, 16 May 2009 (UTC)
[edit] WikiProject Homeschooling Roll Call
Hello, Tea and crumpets! You are receiving this message because you are on WikiProject Homeschooling's list of members. WikiProject Homeschooling is holding a roll call to identify active members. All members will be listed under "Pending". Please move your name to "Active" or "Inactive" based on your ability or interest in contributing to the project. After two weeks all names still listed under "Pending" will be moved to "Inactive". If you are actively interested in participating, we are in the process of trying to revive the project and would welcome any help. Discussion can be found at the project talk page. Cheers! 21:00, 4 June 2010 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy deletion nomination of File:Volcano1.jpg
A tag has been placed on File:Volcano1.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. [edit] Wikipedia:WikiProject Years
Hi, since your name's down on this project, I'm just writing to let you know that there's a discussion going on at the moment on how to format events – and in particular, events that go on for multiple days – on year pages. Your input would be appreciated. — Smjg (talk) 18:23, 15 January 2012 (UTC)
