Better source request for some of your uploads[edit]

Thanks for your uploads to Wikipedia. There is an issue with some of them, specifically:

You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the images because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact Web page where you found the images, rather than only giving the source domain or the URL of the image files themselves. Please update the image descriptions with URLs that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page or me at my talk page. Thank you. Message delivered by Theo's Little Bot (opt-out) 21:02, 22 June 2013 (UTC)

Thank you for sounds of music on the Main page, like that of Uncle Tupelo, and for your NRHP images, - you are an awesome Wikipedian!

Main Page appearance: Anodyne (album)[edit]

This is a note to let the main editors of Anodyne (album) know that the article will be appearing as today's featured article on October 5, 2013. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page. If you prefer that the article appear as TFA on a different date, or not at all, please ask Bencherlite (talk · contribs). You can view the TFA blurb at Wikipedia:Today's featured article/October 5, 2013. If it needs tweaking, or if it needs rewording to match improvements to the article between now and its main page appearance, please edit it, following the instructions at Wikipedia:Today's featured article/requests/instructions. The blurb as it stands now is below:

Jay Farrar

Anodyne is the fourth and final studio album by American alternative country band Uncle Tupelo, released on October 5, 1993. The recording of the album was preceded by the departure of the original drummer Mike Heidorn and the addition of three new band members: bassist John Stirratt, drummer Ken Coomer, and multi-instrumentalist Max Johnston. The band signed with Sire Records shortly before recording the album; Anodyne was Uncle Tupelo's only major label release until 89/93: An Anthology in 2002. Recorded in Austin, Texas, Anodyne featured a split in songwriting credits between singers Jay Farrar (pictured in 2007) and Jeff Tweedy, plus a cover version of the Doug Sahm song "Give Back the Key to My Heart", with Sahm on vocals. The lyrical themes were influenced by country music and—more than their preceding releases—touched on interpersonal relationships. After two promotional tours for the album, which sold over 150,000 copies, tensions between Farrar and Tweedy culminated in the breakup of Uncle Tupelo. Well-received upon its initial release, Anodyne was re-mastered and re-released in 2003 by Rhino Entertainment including five bonus tracks. (Full article...)

Template:Did you know nominations/Belvidere North and South State Street Historic Districts[edit]

Teemu08, it has been pointed out in your nomination of these articles that you have not provided the quid pro quo (QPQ) reviews that are required of all self-nominated articles at DYK. (The requirement is waived for an editor's first five articles; in your case, as you have six that have previously been promoted to the main page.)

As the requirement is that an article for article QPQ be performed, you will need to do two reviews of other nominations. (Your nomination cannot be promoted until these reviews are completed.) If you've never done a review before, the reviewing guide will be a good place to start. The rules are here, with a further explanation of some of the details here. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me. Please be sure in your reviews to specify what you have checked—newness, length, hook interest and source support, and so on. Nominations for review are, like yours, on the nominations page. Thanks, and best of luck. BlueMoonset (talk) 16:34, 17 October 2013 (UTC)

Petersen Rock Garden[edit]

You just added Petersen Rock Garden to WikiProject NRHP, but Petersen Rock Garden is not actually listed on the Register. Do you still want the article associated with the project? --Another Believer (Talk) 20:38, 7 November 2013 (UTC)

Thanks! Comment[edit]

For creating the Gilchrist County Florida NRHP page and updating the other related pages. Huzzah! Yes, one less non-NRHP county. Now if only they could get some in Lafayette County. It's the last one in Florida with no listings. And it's not as though there aren't any that qualify. Oh, well. Anyhoo, thanks, and keep up the good work. I guess I'll have to figure another way to enjoy the rest of my birthday. ;) --Ebyabe talk - General Health ‖ 21:38, 7 November 2013 (UTC)

New NRHP listings[edit]

Thanks for updating the county and state lists with a bunch of the new NRHP listings; as another editor who occasionally updates the lists, I really appreciate the help. When you add new listings, could you please also update Template:NRHP date for lists/dates, so the state lists display which set of listings the list is complete through? The template (and the table it generates at Template:NRHP date for lists) also makes it easier to tell which states need to be updated, which is useful if one state falls behind for a few weeks. TheCatalyst31 ReactionCreation 23:24, 7 November 2013 (UTC)

@TheCatalyst31: I will be sure to do that in the future. The only reason I didn't was because the November 8 link wasn't up yet on the NRHP site, but obviously it will be soon. Teemu08 (talk) 19:22, 10 November 2013 (UTC)

A tip for NRIS-only tagging[edit]

I noticed that you've been tagging several articles which cite NRIS mirrors as NRIS-only. Thanks for catching those. I (and probably most other people) completely agree that those articles are NRIS-only, but because of the way NationalRegisterBot is coded, if the article cites both NRIS and a mirror the bot will remove the tag on its next run. I suggest that when tagging those articles, you replace the citation to the mirror with another citation to the NRIS; it avoids that problem, and citing mirror sites is bad practice anyway. (You can leave the mirror in as an external link, but I personally don't see the use of that either.) TheCatalyst31 ReactionCreation 01:27, 30 January 2014 (UTC)

Thanks, plus a minor issue[edit]

First, thanks for your contributions. I don't believe we have interacted, but a glance at your talk page confirms you've been busy.

OTRS received an email from User:Katyrw,. I will address her issues regarding how to properly cite material she has written. However, she noted that she received a note on her talk page and had no idea how to respond to it. While new editor make not know to click on a talk link, if the note is not signed, I can sympathize that she had no idea how to identify who left her the note.

It is usual practice to sign such notes. I assume it was left off inadvertently, so simply bringing this to your attention.

Keep up the good work.--S Philbrick(Talk) 15:35, 3 February 2014 (UTC)

Alfred M. Jones[edit]

Hi-You did an excellent job with the Alfred M. Jones article. I did make one correction-it was Benjamin Harrison's presidential Campaign Jones was in charge off. I look at the citation and it confirms this. Also Jones was elected to one 4 year term in the Wisconsin Senate then in his time as well as now Wisconsin State Senators served 4 years and half of the senate retiring every 2 years. Also I added citations from the Illinois Legislative Manual for 1875 and the Wisconsin Blue Book 1901 about his legislative services. Okay-I now have a modest request-please do not included myself for DYK credit-the DYK is too political and stressful. Therefore I would appreciate not being included in the DYK nomination. I enjoy history especially Wisconsin history. Many thanks-RFD (talk) 17:26, 11 February 2014 (UTC)

NRHP Weekly List 5/23[edit]

I wanted to let you know why I'm reverting (for now) one of your recent edits. You stated in this edit summary that the completed date for Illinois could be advanced to 5/23 because the Weekly List entry was only additional documentation. However, those "additional documentation" entries are sometimes used to change National Register information that needs to be reflected in Wikipedia's lists and articles: in this case the National Register appears to have changed the spelling for this listing from "Joel H. Hubbard House" to "Joel H. Hulburd House". I've requested a copy of the additional documentation from the NPS so that I can edit the list and article with full confidence. Meanwhile, I don't think the date should be advanced until the name matter is resolved. Thanks for all your great work on Wikipedia. — Ipoellet (talk) 18:06, 23 May 2014 (UTC)
