Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Kurunjang Secondary College has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Disambiguation link notification for May 27[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of boycotts, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Channel 7 (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Speedy deletion nomination of Troy Henkels[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Troy Henkels requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Windows XP, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Windows 8 Start Screen and desktop after installation.png[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Windows 8 Start Screen and desktop after installation.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. 80.221.159.67 (talk) 11:18, 23 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of List of shipping macOS versions[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on List of shipping macOS versions requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204319. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. Request reason:

The idea that i am not here to build an encyclopedia is just flat-out untrue. I have made many constructive edits over the past five years here - the only issue now was my attitude over Kim Petras's birthname being put onto her article and the use of a word that some people deem a slur (and a word that applies to my own self as a trans person). Sure, block me from the topic of transgender people as was suggested on the ANI ANI - I won't like it but that's fair enough. I don't really believe being blocked from the entirety of Wikipedia is fair. I will not use the word "tr*nny" again and I will not be as aggressive as it seemed with my edit summaries.

Accept reason:

Per Uncle G's comments below, if you want to stay unblocked you need to avoid insulting groups of editors and dial down the rhetoric. With your history of constructive contributions, I trust you to take that on board. If you don't, I expect we'll be here again pretty shortly and next time you won't be trusted. GoldenRing (talk) 10:21, 22 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • As the person who made the ANI report, I'm in favour of this unblock, as long as the user is formally topic banned from the topic of transgender people, understanding that any edits they make relating to trans content on any page may lead to immediate sanctions or blocks. — Bilorv (talk) 05:03, 20 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Kosmosi, what will you edit about instead? The Blade of the Northern Lights does a topic ban satisfy this matter? 331dot (talk) 10:17, 20 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
For that matter, does the community need to consent to this as well? 331dot (talk) 10:18, 20 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I'd be OK with that. And not sure you need community consent, but if you do unblock just note it at ANI. The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 12:47, 20 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Here is what you should do: Never again rudely tell people to "get the fuck over it" or anything similar; never again use edit summaries for conversation, or anything more than simply summarising and describing an edit; never again make egregiously insulting, and ill-founded, assumptions about the motiviations of other editors ("triggered"). And do not do this anywhere, with any article, on talk pages, or in edit summaries.

I've seen Special:Contributions/Kosmosi and quite clearly "not here to contribute to an encyclopaedia" is untrue. Now you go and look at Special:Contributions/Uncle G and others to see how it is possible to go for a over decade and a half without calling people names in edit summaries. Equally clearly we can make some quite educated guesses at the sort of things that you are likely to edit instead.

If you do these things, and avoid this particular topic that is clearly so close to yourself that you cannot deal with it calmly, then you are unlikely to get into trouble like this again. But if you don't, this is what happens.

No, these are not unblock conditions. These are how you can successfully stay out of difficulty, like many other people do. Uncle G (talk) 22:00, 20 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
