what's this? is this a robot page?

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Thomas and Friends merchandise has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.woodenrailway.proboards.com/ (matching the regex rule \bproboards\.com\b).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 21:53, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I am sorry if I have edited wrong. I do not mean to cause trouble. What does undo mean?

Welcome. Do you need help?[edit]

Hi there; I noticed you have been having trouble inserting links into an article and understanding the messages you are getting in reply, so I thought I would try to make things a bit clearer.

  • The link you have been trying to add is being removed because it links to a chat forum in proboards.com. This kind of link doesn't really belong in an encyclopaedia article, so an editor and a bot have both removed it, one after the other. Have a look at WP:linkspam for more info on the subject.
  • Your username suggests you may have a link with the wooden railway forum. Please accept my apologies if this is not the case, but if it is, you have a conflict of interest and should not be trying to promote the forum within Wikipedia, even for the best of reasons.
  • As a new user, you are very welcome to contribute constructively here. Have a look at WP:WELCOME, which will get you started. If you need any further help, just leave a message on my talk page here, or type {{helpme}} on this page and someone will show up to answer your question.

Best wishes and happy editing. Karenjc 22:13, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 22:22, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
