Much talk[edit]

Please participate in some of the discussions about Editor Retention beginning at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Editor Retention#Creator of WER takes a break and hands in admin tools. Buster Seven Talk 13:44, 23 January 2015 (UTC)

  • I have posted a short reply there. A longer reply here— (with due respect to Dennis Brown) a project must not be totally dependent on a person. The project must go on. --Tito Dutta (talk) 13:58, 23 January 2015 (UTC)

I appreciate your input here. Thank you. Jim Carter 14:07, 23 January 2015 (UTC)

  • I'll check. --Tito Dutta (talk) 01:09, 24 January 2015 (UTC)

Adopting me![edit]

Hey, this is Cartermassey. I am best able to help Wikipedia by putting my astute grammatical skills to use by fixing sentence and paragraph flow. I am an IT support specialist by trade, so I usually am able to look at other code in the article and mimic its syntax, should I need to do any complex wiki editing. Despite this, I often get stumped because I lack a ground-up understanding of how to write an article.

Thanks in advance for your help adopting me! --CarterMassey (talk) 18:41, 23 January 2015 (UTC)cartermassey

  • That's fine. I hope that I'll be able to answer your coding or other queries. Regards. --Tito Dutta (talk) 01:07, 24 January 2015 (UTC)

AfD possibly of interest[edit]

Is this discussion Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ranikuthi something that you would like to contribute to? --MelanieN (talk) 02:00, 29 January 2015 (UTC)

  • Ranikuthi is am area of South Kolkata, a popular area. It is just 5-6 km from the place where I live. The article should be kept\, but I can not establish notability, see WP:INDAFDKI. You may search using "Ranikthi Rehents Park" "Rankuthi telephone exchange", "রানীকুঠি কলকাতা". --Tito Dutta (talk) 05:40, 29 January 2015 (UTC)

Justification for page protection[edit]

What qualifies as enough disruptive editing for page protection? Is there a specific time frame or amount? JayJ47 (talk) 04:25, 29 January 2015 (UTC)

  • Probably you are taking about Novak Djokovic career statistics. I felt there was not a a significant amount of disruption or vandalism from new or unregistered users. --Tito Dutta (talk) 05:35, 29 January 2015 (UTC)

Manifesto of Aam Aadmi Party[edit]

Hi Titodutta, I just noticed that you, probably accidentally, removed the link to AAP election manifesto in the Delhi election 2015 page. I am going to revert it back as it is valuable information. Please talk to me User:Jineshkj if you still think the content needs removal. Thanks — Preceding undated comment added 02:26, 30 January 2015 (UTC)

  • See WP:ELPOINTS #2. EL in almost never added in article body. And there is no reason to add a manifesto link there. --Tito Dutta (talk) 04:09, 30 January 2015 (UTC)

Re: status[edit]

I am extremely irregular in wikipedia as of now.--Dwaipayan (talk) 07:01, 30 January 2015 (UTC)

Dwaipayan I guess that beats being irregular in real life :) I wonder if there is a Wikipedia laxative you could take? Bgwhite (talk) 08:56, 30 January 2015 (UTC)

Test Wiki flag requests[edit]

I am requesting admin, checkuser, and import right the Test Wiki --Tito Dutta (talk) 09:25, 30 January 2015 (UTC)

Yes, I want to be adopted.[edit]

Yes, I've been looking for being adapted, preferably for technology related articles. Jacksparrow43 (talk) 19:13, 30 January 2015 (UTC)

Blocking confusion[edit]

Excuse me but would you perhaps be able to fill me in why the blocked user PabloOsvaldo17 had been persecuted by C. Fred over an argument in connection with the edit war on the Xherdan Shaqiri article on Wikipedia (EN)? — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talkcontribs) 13:39, 31 January 2015‎ (UTC)

I'm not removing either this post or the next, but after PabloOsvaldo17 was blocked, he used at least one sockpuppet account in addition to editing while not logged in from the above-mentioned IP address. It's hardly persecution to enforce a block. —C.Fred (talk) 14:51, 31 January 2015 (UTC)
  • C.Fred has already replied here. If you want to report something, please go to WP:ANI or WP:AN. --Tito Dutta (talk) 20:32, 31 January 2015 (UTC)

Angry intentions[edit]

I understand that the user in question did cross the line when they violated their own talk page, loading it for obscenities and showing much hatred to both Walter Görlitz and C. Fred but on what grounds can a user be sanctioned and ultimately blocked due to a complaint? — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talkcontribs) 13:39, 31 January 2015‎ (UTC)

G flat major[edit]

The article as it currently resides in Wikipedia is not very complete. Last year I did an extensive search for all quality instrumental compositions in that key and came up with the the list I attempted to add. This is the only such list in existence and it should appear somewhere on the web. Was the problem the format? This key is very special and the number of pieces in it are small in comparison to keys with four flats or sharps or less. I also added a list for F sharp major that you may also not like.
