Thank you for everything

Hi Trlkly. I just saw your comments about the essay in the Signpost and I had to come over and thank you. I did a quick look through your talk page archives and have to apologize, on behalf of Wikipedia, for the many negative things you've experienced. It's truly sad that such a good person as yourself has had to deal with some of our more aggressive users.

I also had a look at your user page and I have to agree with speaking the truth about the situation here at Wikipedia. Things have gone down hill in the last several years and we need to start dealing with the fact that users are leaving as soon as they walk in the door. It's sad really.

Anyhoo, on to happier things. I wanted to thank you for your comments on the Signpost essay. I felt they were insightful and to the point. I can't tell you how much I appreciate coming across a fellow Wikipedia that's willing to speak out about these issues. It's really great.

I also need to thank you for your great contributions. It is volunteers like us that help build this wonderful resource for the world and so your help is very much appreciated. So in that regard I have to give you a barnstar.

However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
