Thanks. I would never delete an insult on someone else's talk page, except if it was full of obscenities like this one was. I do not think it is controversial to say that I also recognized part of the IP number. Thank you for correcting me - I'd never done put a warning template on anything, and I'm afraid I'm still confused about templates in general.

Hi Vercalos. I just wanted to throw in my two cents before darting off for visions of sugarplums, &c. I think you jumped the gun on vandal-templating User:87.66.143.74 for their naughty list commentary. While I agree with you that it is original research & doesn't belong in the article, it seems to me that it was a good faith edit not deserving of even the low level warning you gave out. I've caught myself a bunch of times just throwing a template response out on reflex. I mostly wanted to mention it here since I commented on that user's talk page.
