Hi. This is my talk page. Leave a message here. Mind that I won't always reply directly, because as I said, I might go into hiatus without warning. I always reply to the User's talk page, not here.

Guruh Sukarnoputra[edit]

Thanks and well done for spotting the French link and the other improvements. The Indonesian language source mangled the French - I knew it was wrong but didn't have time to find it after creating the article. Davidelit (talk) 05:24, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

Broadwaylover[edit]

-Thanks for fixing the Kiril Kulish page. It's been the only page I've ever written, and I was confused about how to cite my sources and put a box in for his basic info. I looked at your profile page too- I'm impressed at how many languages you speak! It's really cool that you can edit pages in so many languages. Broadwaylover (talk) 05:42, 21 February 2009 (UTC)

-Sounds good. There's information on the playbill, and alot on an article in the NY Daily News. Is it possible to put pictures in the pages, or are there strict copywrite laws?

-For David Alvarez: Rough Draft

David Alvarez (born May 11, 1994) is a Canadian dancer and actor, best known as being one of the original Billy's in the Broadway production of Billy Elliot the Musical. David was born in Montreal, Canada, to Cuban parents. His first languages were French and Spanish, and had to improve his English skills to take the part of Billy. He moved to San Diego when his Dad, a college professor, took a job there. He began taking dance more seriously in California. In 2005 David received a full scholarship to the Jaqueline Kennedy Onassis American Ballet Theatre School, and his family relocated to New York. He never thought that he would receive the part of Billy, because he only knew ballet. David needed to learn tap, acrobatics, voice, and acting for the role. He spent July 2007 through March 2008 preparing for the role. Billy Elliot the Musical began previews in New York on October 1 and officially opened on November 13, 2008.

He has been featured on The View, Sunday Morning on CBS News, The Today Show, and at the 62nd Tony Awards.

He lives with his family in the upper west side, and takes private tutoring for ninth grade.

Indonesian legislative election, 2009[edit]

Hi. I see we're both editing this page alternately. I hope I haven't accidentally deleted any of your additions... Davidelit (talk) 18:18, 9 May 2009 (UTC)

I'm pretty neutral about that too. Also it's 1:43am here in Jakarta and I've been trying to follow the election results and finish some translating for a deadline, so even if I did try to add the 4th, 5th and 6th places, I'd probably much it up! Time for sleep. Davidelit (talk) 18:45, 9 May 2009 (UTC)

Hello. I just changed the redirect to get it to work. I have no idea about the spelling - you'd have to discuss with those who changed the main article and the list of characters article. -- Beardo (talk) 15:59, 24 May 2009 (UTC)

Indonesian presidential election, 2009[edit]

Ooops. I'd missed that one! So much for my following the election! It's already been corrected anyway. Thanks for such a sopan santun way of pointing out my error. Davidelit (talk) 16:39, 26 May 2009 (UTC)

Queen Sofia[edit]

I think this may be an adequate reference:

http://www.staugustine.com/stories/040201/new_04020100011.shtml

It doesn't explicitly say she a pescetarian but it makes a strong case: "The queen, being vegetarian, was served just the sea bass." Many pescetarians are often referred to as vegetarians who eat fish so I think it would be ok as a reference if you can't find another one. Betty Logan (talk) 17:16, 10 June 2009 (UTC)

Some unassessed Indonesia related articles....[edit]

...needs to be assessed according to class. An article I created, Kidzania Jakarta, is considerably start-class, but I have reviewed this page and it looks like a stub-class. Furthermore, this page needs to be cleaned up and verified, as several contents do not meet Wikipedia's standards. Please do so, if you're active.--BoeingRuleOfThe9th-700 (talk) 15:25, 3 September 2009 (UTC)

Billy Elliot[edit]

You seem to know a lot about and do quite a bit of work developing the Billy Elliot musical cast page. It was recently inundated with info about 'ballet girls' from anonymous users. I don't have any idea what a ballet girl is in a musical (my instinctive search for it on wikipedia was unfulfilling :) ), but it sounds like a background task.

Anyhow, I made one small reversion but didn't want to go in hacking and slashing info that may be pertinent to the cause, so I figured I'd just give you a heads up. You can use your, more-knowledgable discretion on the matter. Thanks!

Thanks for uploading File:Kingdom Hearts Final Mix Ultimate Hits (JPN).jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Fair use rationale for File:Final Fantasy VII International Leaflet (Ultimate Hits-JPN).jpg[edit]

Copyright-problem.svg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Final Fantasy VII International Leaflet (Ultimate Hits-JPN).jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk 04:49, 1 October 2010 (UTC)

File permission problem with File:James Lomas.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:James Lomas.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Aaron Booth (talk) 05:34, 26 February 2012 (UTC)
