Hello Waacstats. The above article, to which you have contributed, was mentioned in an Articles for Deletion discussion. It looks very weak to me, and the only reference is a web page that doesn't work. Do you think it's salvageable? I am only asking as I have never put an article up for deletion and I don't want to make a fool of myself. The creator of the article hasn't contributed anything since 2007, which is why I am coming to you for an opinion. Tigerboy1966 (talk) 08:57, 28 December 2011 (UTC)

[edit] Persondata false positive

Greetings... about this change, note that Larry Solway was an unsuccessful election candidate and did not get to be a politician as such; his primary career was in broadcasting therefore I have corrected that. When updating pdata for politicians, you should probably avoid categories such as Category:Ontario New Democratic Party candidates in Ontario provincial elections. Elected politicians will likely not be in such candidate categories. Hope this helps and Happy (almost) New Year. Dl2000 (talk) 03:22, 31 December 2011 (UTC)

[edit] An ice cold beverage for you!

Export hell seidel steiner.png Hope you enjoy the new year and thanks for all the persondata description work you've been doing - no idea how you can do so many! The-Pope (talk) 03:11, 31 December 2011 (UTC)

[edit] Persondata short description

Greetings, I notice you are adding short description to a lot of articles. I was wondering if you are doing this with a script of some kind or something else. --Kumioko (talk) 03:34, 1 January 2012 (UTC)

[edit] Category:Trebinje Region geography stubs and Category:Vlasenica Region geography stubs

Greetings! Two or more stub types which you created have been nominated for renaming or deletion at Wikipedia:Stub types for deletion. The stub type most likely doesn't meet Wikipedia requirements for a stub type, through failure to meet standards relating to the name, scope, current stub hierarchy or likely size, as explained at Wikipedia:Stub. Please feel free to make any comments at WP:SFD regarding this stub type, and in future, please consider proposing new stub types first at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Proposals! This message is a boilerplate, left here as a courtesy, and should not be considered personal in nature. Dawynn (talk) 17:28, 16 January 2012 (UTC)

[edit] American politicians?

Multiple changes have applied to William Henry Taylor, Elizabeth Bentley, Harry Dexter White & John S. Service, labeling them as "American Politicians." They were not politicians. None of them ever ran for office. Elizabeth Bentley was never more than a private citizen.

Please reverse these changes. DEddy (talk) 14:10, 5 February 2012 (UTC)

[edit] Will Lee

Not sure how one would call him an american politician.

Did you check all of the entries before making the mass changes with AWB? - jc37 14:12, 5 February 2012 (UTC)

[edit] Persondata

You recently modified the persondata for Ruth Shipley and John F. Melby, identifying each as a politician. Neither was ever a politician. One was a civil servant and the other a diplomat. I've corrected both. Bmclaughlin9 (talk) 16:59, 5 February 2012 (UTC)

Ditto for Elizabeth Hawes - who was many things, but never a politician. What the...? Mabalu (talk) 23:38, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
I apologise, I hadn't realised that the MacCarthyism category was under United States Senator and a number of these got picked up. Waacstats (talk) 09:31, 6 February 2012 (UTC)
