Hi! My name is Walex03. This is my talk page. When you are editing my talk page, there are some things I want to say.

1 Welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you have a great time here and decide to stay.

2 Artoo-Deetoo stole my lunch. Pretty funny. :|

3 When editing my talk page, you may talk to me, but I would like you to note that any spam will be removed by hand by me. But anything else stays here.

4 I am not an administrator yet, so I can't help you with that kind of stuff here.

5 I will not remove subjects by hand. Yes, when it gets long, I will insert automatic archives, but that's different. Conversation goes on, spam goes off.

5 Although I have decided and that it is a lot easier for you to post me WikiLove on this page, I will move the WikiLove to my page later on. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Walex03 (talkcontribs) 22:30, 4 March 2012 (UTC)

And have fun editing!

Walex03 (talk to me here!) —Preceding undated comment added 21:27, 1 March 2012 (UTC).

This section is your space to leave me little short subsection personal messages. Or, do what you wish!

Regarding your recent edit, I am unsure who wrote that in the SandBox.

Please, whoever wrote that, I have no idea who you are. Even if you do edit in the "YourSpace" section of my talk page, I want signatures, please!

Your userpage and personal information[edit]

Hi Walex, I just removed the dragon ball Z picture from your userpage. It is a copyrighted picture and you are not allowed to use those on your userpage. For more information see the Non-free content policy.

What is much more important however is that I saw you have a lot of information on your userpage about your friends, your school, your birthday and such. Please see Wikipedia:Guidance for younger editors for some advice on this. Basically it is a very bad idea to put this kind of information on the wikipedia, because it can be very hard to remove the information later. Yoenit (talk) 09:31, 27 February 2012 (UTC)

As an oversighter, see Wikipedia:Oversight, I have reviewed your user page. Please take Yoenit's observations into account and take care not to disclose personal information about yourself and your friends. User:Fred Bauder Talk 13:14, 27 February 2012 (UTC)

Alright I guess I should fix that.

What is much more important is hat makes you call me a "younger editor"?

Walex & 03. A Life together. (talk)..?

--Walex & 03. A Life together. (talk) 18:41, 27 February 2012 (UTC)

It was quite obvious from the text on your userpage. The picture on your Twitter account confirmed it. Yoenit (talk) 22:18, 4 March 2012 (UTC)

What do you mean, "obvious from the text on my userpage"?

Walex03 (talk) 22:20, 4 March 2012 (UTC)

The text which is now removed that was talking about your friends and various things you did in grade 1 to 3. It was not something an adult would write. Yoenit (talk) 23:36, 4 March 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Walex03/Vader Effect, etc.[edit]

A tag has been placed on Walex03/Vader Effect, Walex03/VE, Walex03/The Vader Effect, Walex03/TVE, and Walex03/WWI, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect to an article talk page, file description page, file talk page, MediaWiki page, MediaWiki talk page, category talk page, portal talk page, template talk page, help talk, user page, user talk or special page from the main/article space.

If you can fix the redirect to point to a mainspace page, please do so and remove the speedy deletion tag. However, please do not remove the speedy deletion tag unless you are fixing the redirect. If you think the redirect should be retained as is for some reason, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: Speedy delete contest button.png which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the article's talk page directly to give your reasons. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. —Akrabbimtalk 20:21, 28 February 2012 (UTC)

Yes, I know. It was a double redirect. Check the section on my talk page. I was waiting for a bot to fix it. Don't talk to me about it, just let a bot do it. Walex & 03. A Life together. (talk) 23:50, 28 February 2012 (UTC)

No, the double-redirect was already fixed. The problem was that these links were in the article namespace, and they were redirecting to your drafts in user space. See Wikipedia:Cross-namespace redirects for why these aren't the best. —Akrabbimtalk 03:25, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
I assume you wanted to make User:Walex03/Vader Effect, but you forgot the "user:" prefix. Without that the software treats them as normal encyclopedia pages. Yoenit (talk) 11:10, 29 February 2012 (UTC)

Yes. I know. It's fixed now, right? Well, anyway, OK.

Welcome to Wikipedia! Drop by the Teahouse anytime for a cup of tea, or some help with editing![edit]

Teahouse logo
Hello! Walex03, you are invited to join other new editors and friendly hosts in the Teahouse. An awesome place to meet people, ask questions and learn more about Wikipedia. Please join us! SarahStierch (talk) 15:17, 3 March 2012 (UTC)

Okay! Sounds like fun! I put myself there a few weeks ago.

W (talk) 23:42, 4 March 2012 (UTC)

Hi Walex! Actually the Teahouse just opened last week, so perhaps that was another help area of Wikipedia. We're a new expeirment in help, so hopefully you'll stop by :) Sarah (talk) 20:55, 5 March 2012 (UTC)

Ironic. I just saw that when I was visiting the Teahouse again to talk about my page I'm trying to introduce. I figure I can visit the Teahouse every time I'm trying to host and create a new page (starting in my namespace). I really am having a great time on Wikiledia, you've probably read about my goals to become a "well-established" editor in a fun and simple way. I really think the Teahouse is a friendly way to introduce newcomers into the encyclopedia. My goal is that once I practice on Wikipedia to easily learn the Wikimedia ropes I'll settle into the sister projects. And I'll have to admit, the Department of Fun makes it, well, fun!

And actually it was the Teahouse that I put myself in, it's just that time messes me up. A few days is a few weeks, a few weeks is a few months, etc. etc.

So I'll be going back to the Teahouse now!

Your signature[edit]

I notice that you have been using a signature file User:Walex03/sig which includes a transclusion of Template:Now. The problem is that the template displays the date and time at the time of reading your contribution, not at the time you wrote it. (In fact, you can't even guarantee that you'll see it correctly when reading the page, because of caching effects.) If you read WP:SIG you'll see that it refers to "... identifying the author of a particular comment and the date and time at which it was made", but at present your signature doesn't identify the date and time at which the comment was made, and can thus confuse the reader. If you want to use your sig file to format your signature you could take the {{Now}} out of the file, and then follow your use of {{User:Walex03/sig}} by 5 tildes to add the timestamp. - David Biddulph (talk) 06:33, 4 March 2012 (UTC)

In fact transclusion of templates in signatures is forbidden, see WP:SIG#NoTemplates. Yoenit (talk) 14:46, 4 March 2012 (UTC)
Special:WhatLinksHere/User:Walex03/sig shows it's still transcluded in some pages and now it displays a big confusing box starting "This page was created by me". Please remove the transclusions. PrimeHunter (talk) 11:44, 5 March 2012 (UTC)

Didn't you read my page notice? I'm not an administrator, I can't do stuff like that. On all the places where I did put that template was now a rant about that page. So, what do you think I had to do? I had to take it off and replace it with my current sig on all the pages. At first I was worrried something went wrong through the leak in my page notices or something. Well, anyway, I removed some of them. Can you tell me where the rest of them are so I can take them off?

Oh, remove the transclusions. I thought you said delete the page.

Walex03

P.S. The box was supposed to make it unconfusing. —Preceding undated comment added 12:20, 5 March 2012‎ (UTC).

PrimeHunter gave you the link to the list of where your template is transcluded. - David Biddulph (talk) 13:12, 5 March 2012 (UTC)

You are aware that you just edited a quote right? Marcus Qwertyus 00:03, 5 March 2012 (UTC)

When I found out I reverted it, didn't I? Walex03

I don't think so. Marcus Qwertyus 00:22, 5 March 2012 (UTC)

Well if I didn't I certainly meant to.

Disambiguation link notification for March 9[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Potter Puppet Pals, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Android (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:45, 9 March 2012 (UTC)

Leave the link there. I'll point it to the page intended.

Walex03 (phone?) (talk) 12:07, 9 March 2012 (UTC) Walexwhat? HEY!!!! I DID THAT!!!!!!

That userbox[edit]

I've reverted it for you. In general, you shouldn't really change existing userboxes that are already used by lots of people, as you might be changing them to something unexpected that the people using them do not want. If you want a variation on a userbox, it's better to create an entirely new one. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 13:52, 10 March 2012 (UTC)

Ok thanks.

30xelawalex03 (talk) 13:57, 10 March 2012 (UTC)

Edits to Harry Potter[edit]

I've reverted your edits to Harry Potter. In particular:

  1. The comment next to the title clearly indicates that only the British title is used, and not the American title, in the case of the Philosopher's/Sorcerer's discrepancy.
  2. The statement that the books are self-contained needs to be backed up with a reliable source, where a critic has noted the books as self-contained.

C.Fred (talk) 22:22, 10 March 2012 (UTC)

Adoption request[edit]

Hi Walex03,

On the assumption that your message was a request for adoption then, yes, I'd be happy to adopt you. Looking over your history, there are clearly a few issue that we'd need to discuss, but on the whole you seem like an enthusiastic editor who could be an asset to the project - it would be my pleasure to help you become that.

My personal areas of interest at present are anti-vandalism, sourcing, wikification and, increasingly, article creation. I'm a policy pedant, so expect lots of links; read 'em!

If you're amenable to adoption, leave a message on my talkpage and we'll take it from there.

Cheers, Yunshui  07:59, 12 March 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Ultimate Dog Tease[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ultimate Dog Tease requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. MikeWazowski (talk) 22:35, 15 March 2012 (UTC)

How much less notability does it have than The Annoying Orange, David After Dentist, and many more content spreading around the web. 💩 Walex03'. talking, working, friending'. 11:41, 16 March 2012 (UTC)

Does it make it more notable if it briefly appeared on an eSurance commercial?

A Little Guide to Wikipedia[edit]

Your page has been deleted as requested. However, for future reference, you should be aware that the actual process for having a page deleted in your own sandbox is to tag it as {{Db-g7}} instead of moving it into articlespace; pages in your own personal userspace simply won't get noticed otherwise. Thanks. Bearcat (talk) 17:49, 17 March 2012 (UTC)

MfD nomination of Wikipedia:The Obvious[edit]

Wikipedia:The Obvious, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:The Obvious and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Wikipedia:The Obvious during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. User:Walex03//Sidious vs. Palpatine[edit]

Hey, I moved your "essay" to your userspace at User:Walex03//Sidious vs. Palpatine. The talkpage you edited had been inactive for years, so you were unlikely to get any responses at all. If you want to suggest a name change for these article I suggest you discuss it at talk:Palpatine. With regards to the contents of your essay, it seems to be pure wp:original research to me. Speedy deletion nomination of Roger's Modern Life[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Roger's Modern Life, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do.
