Hi! It seems you recently created an unreferenced biography of a living person: Jesper Dahlbäck. The community has decided that all new biographies of living persons must contain a reliable source that supports at least one statement made about the person in the article as per our verifiability policy. Please add references as soon as possible. Thanks! --LaraBot (talk) 00:11, 29 June 2013 (UTC)

Priyanka Chopra

Hi there. I removed your recent edits to this article, because they:

  • Re-added information that was already there
  • Re-added a source that was already there
  • Had some formatting errors
  • Said that a song was released even though it was not, according to the sources

This article has been fighting to get to FA lately, so we need to keep it very tight and accurate. Please be very careful about what you add here. Accuracy is more important than speed or edit counts. Thanks, BollyJeff | talk 23:37, 29 June 2013 (UTC)

Then Jerico

Dear Werldwayd, I hope you are well. I'll be very grateful if you can please help me keep the Then Jerico page neutral and referenced. One abusive and nasty editor -- whom has previously been blocked for sockpuppetry on this page -- keeps restoring unverified material. He curses and attacks me (including racially) when I try. Best regards, George Custer's Sabre (talk) 20:27, 7 July 2013 (UTC)

A good portion of the content you added to the page when you removed the proposed deletion tag are either unsourced, poorly sourced (you cannot use a link to a photo or a photo blog as a source), or blatantly false (you state Cohen appeared on the cover of DNA Magazine which the citation does not say at all). I've removed this content and sent the article to AFD.—Ryulong (琉竜) 18:37, 11 July 2013 (UTC)

Do not add false statements or unsourced statements to biographies of living persons. Eliad Cohen has never been the cover model for DNA Magazine.—Ryulong (琉竜) 04:30, 12 July 2013 (UTC)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on MC Daleste requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. STATic message me! 12:55, 16 July 2013 (UTC)

Foreigners and elections in Mexico (Rebecca Black)

Greetings: Regarding your correction: the source cited mentions article 33 of the Mexican Constitution. Of course I have no idea what article 33 of the Mexican constitution actually says. As Wikipedia editors we could but we shouldn't have to go ourselves check what it is exactly that the Mexican Constitution and/or Mexican election laws say about foreigners getting involved in elections, so I propose we scrap the whole alledged reason why Black wasn't supposed to get involved, and just leave the bare fact that she did and was criticized for it, like so: "Black drew criticism for supporting Enrique Pena Nieto for President of Mexico in the 2012 general elections." The reader can then, if they choose, check (or not) the source given and see whether they want to pursue the matter and see if what the source says is or not correct. Cheers. Greetings. Sorry for the late answer. I think you were right to delete it the first time, but I thought it was because it was in the career section. Of course it has nothing at all to do with her "career". Is it a piece of information that has its place in an article about a 16 year old YouTube sensation? It can be argued back and forth. On one hand you are right it is a trivial piece of information that will most likely be of no consequence either on the elections or her "career". On the other hand many articles about show business people carry the same kind info (their involvement in politics, philantropy, ecology, what have you) even though it is of just as little consequence. Just to stay consistent with common practice in the case of WP articles regarding show business people I personally thought it had its place here. Now if you feel that this is a special case and you feel strongly such information doesn't belong in a WP article at least in this special case, feel free to delete that whole bit, I will not reinstate it, now that you've told me your point of view. Cheers. Contact Basemetal here 23:28, 22 July 2013 (UTC)

Since your updates on the Thomas Quick article it has recieved alot of support for mention at ITN. Good work.--BabbaQ (talk) 19:24, 1 August 2013 (UTC)

The article AJ Junior has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article. The nominator also raised the following concern:

All biographies of living people created after March 18, 2010, must have references.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Tomas e (talk) 18:31, 2 August 2013 (UTC)

Big thanks for your post. When I was comment about Belgium I not check update on charts this songs... Sorry. Yes you allgright. When all songs from album are join to singles sales how check is album sales? One people buy one song from album = one album sales? Maybe when some songs are in top 20 should be write articles for songs? I will be write "Tout les mêmes" on Polish Wikipedia.
You known Charts in France. I think forum also. They have sales album and singles in week for Top 200. Where they found this?
And I like Arash "Boro Boro" (gold in Sweden), "Melody" (acoustic very good but hq released too?) and some other. I also like Sean Paul, Zack Hemsey and more. I listen Khaled "C'est la vie" (maybe you known he have more this style songs? I should check his discography). I was make feature Stromae discography on Polish Wikipedia, maybe you check (your opinion) and maybe you too on English? Armenian celebrities in France

You might be surprised to know Frenchmen know absolutely nothing about Shahan Shahnour or his works. But virtually everybody in French-speaking countries (I happen to be a Frenchman born and living abroad) knows Alice Sapritch (if only through her role in La Folie des grandeurs with Louis de Funès). I guess Shahan Shahnour is a literature celebrity among Armenians just as Cigerxwîn among the Kurds as a major Kurdish writer and poet, but he was/is probably totally unknown in Sweden. They should rather be included in lists of the main transnational personalities & national treasures among their respective diasporas, not just as mere local French or Swedish Armenians or Kurds. --Minorities observer (talk) 19:22, 1 September 2013 (UTC)

Better source request for some of your uploads

Thanks for your uploads to Wikipedia. There is an issue with some of them, specifically:

You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the images because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact Web page where you found the images, rather than only giving the source domain or the URL of the image files themselves. Please update the image descriptions with URLs that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page or me at my talk page. Thank you. Message delivered by Theo's Little Bot (opt-out) 21:07, 2 September 2013 (UTC)

DYK for Meral Tasbas

The DYK project (nominate) 16:03, 11 September 2013 (UTC)

This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of When I'm Gone (Carter Family song), and it appears to include material copied directly from http://www.radiolightfm.com/fr/newreleases/.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) MadmanBot (talk) 08:27, 12 September 2013 (UTC)

The article Clear the Stage has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not meet the criteria of notable songs: WP:NSONG with 3 being marginal as the composer's article is about to be nominated for deletion.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
