Thanks for stepping in to the debate at Talk:Zheng He. I have taken the advice of you and HenriLobineau, and made a sandbox at User:Alarob/Zheng He. If you care to get caught up in all this, I will be grateful. The article at 1421 hypothesis can provide some background as well. Zheng He[edit]

Wow, that's very helpful! Thanks for putting in the effort.

May I ask you to sign your comment on Talk:Zheng He and describe what you did? Moving a great chunk of text off the talk page is not to be done lightly. I think it's appropriate in this case, but I'm concerned that it may give offense to our colleagues unless explained.

It might also be a good idea to leave the rearranged debate on the talk page, and start fresh in the sandbox. What do you think? -- Rob C (Alarob) 19:04, 3 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I will hold off for a day or two on drafting an account of the brass medallion. While I have come the the debate assuming good faith of all parties, I now think it likely that Dr. Lee and HenriL don't really want to see an open debate and have no intention of joining in one. But your comment does make me think; I had imagined the sandbox proceeding in two stages: 1) analyzing the evidence and seeking consensus, 2) drafting a new passage, at least about the "Zheng He map" if not the medallion and flag, etc. Maybe it's best to just move right to step 2, and we can digress to discussions of evidence as needed, maybe in a separate section. That way the process is less open-ended and may not drag out forever. -- Rob C (Alarob) 11:44, 4 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Daitō-ryū Aiki-jūjutsu[edit]

Thank you very much for the speedy yet detailed review - the last time I nominated an article it took over a month before it was reviewed! I appreciate all of the comments, and will begin working on them immediately. Thanks, Bradford44 17:39, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Question about Image:8PSK_Gray_Coded.svg[edit]

Hiya, thanks for getting in touch. I'm afraid the honest truth is that, until you pointed it out, it hadn't even occurred to me. Just one of those things, I guess. I've changed it just now to use the conventional Gray code, though to make it 'look like' the other constellations, I've started it at the south-westerly corner of the diagram. Start-class[edit]

Changed this to orange, due to ratings correlation. Feel free to revert. Miranda 05:35, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nevermind, can't do it. Can you please change to orange? Miranda 05:45, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Circle symbols[edit]

Your article-class symbols are great! I love them. Any chance you could make one for template-class articles? Their color is a light pink. I'd appreciate it; let me know. Thanks! KV5Squawk boxFight on! 01:23, 24 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm doing something wrong with an SVG Image[edit]

I saw the proposed SVG image for A class articles which you posted on the Military History Project talk. You are obvoiusly an SVG guru! I created a template for use with military maps. The PNG image renders perfectly on WikiCommons, but the raw SVG has black blocks all over it in its thumbnail form. Yet, when you click on the SVG image and open it - the SVG is perfect. What am I doing wrong???? Your asistance would be truly appreciated. The PNG Image is here and the SVG source image from which the PNG was rendered is here. Thanks in advance.
