Regarding the History of the MBTA Green Line article[edit]

There is a discussion on the Talk:Green Line (MBTA) article. I apologize if you did not see it before. As I said there, I was thinking that the content should be restored, but then the article should be moved so that it is about the line's route. Epic Genius (talk) 21:35, 11 May 2015 (UTC)

Template widths[edit]

Please stop making edits like this one where you increase the width of route diagram templates. RDTs should go in infoboxes whenever possible for a more consistent visual look and various other nitpicky reasons, and that means that unless there is a truly compelling reason otherwise they should be no more than 300 pixels wide. Additionally, those viewing on small screens (netbooks, smartphones, etc) will have trouble with wide templates. Thank you, Pi.1415926535 (talk) 02:20, 13 May 2015 (UTC)

Use of colour[edit]

The section of Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Accessibility #Color that you changed applies to blind visitors. It is aimed at editors who use coloured text or coloured backgrounds to indicate, e.g. the winner in a table. A blind visitor can use a screen reader to hear the article, but if information on who won is only available to those can see a gold background colour, then the blind visitor is denied the information. Hope that clarifies the guidance for you. --RexxS (talk) 00:32, 24 May 2015 (UTC)

@RexxS: See Wikipedia:Templates for discussion/Log/2015 May 23#Template:Color box for context. Alakzi (talk) 01:13, 24 May 2015 (UTC)

Template:MBTA Boat[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. At least one of your recent edits, such as the edit you made to Template:MBTA Boat, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at the welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. • |title-bg = #0066ff: the hex-value of the color shouldn't be hard-coded, as the template {{MBTA color}} already supplies it
  • |navbar = Template:MBTA Boat: the word Template: is redundant because {{BS-map}} automatically adds it
  • |collapsible = yes and |collapse = no: also not necessary, since they are the defaults
  • BSicon WDOCKSm.svgBSicon uexSTR.svg has very little contrast compared to BSicon WDOCKSm.svgBSicon uLSTR.svg
  •  North Station is not a good link for Lovejoy Wharf because the article doesn't say anything about the Wharf
  •    Orange Line   Green Line  aren't really relevant here (but would be appropriate on a subway diagram); the link to Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority#Subway in {{rint|subway}} is sufficient
  •  Fore River Shipyard and Hewitt's Cove shouldn't be floating out in the middle of the harbor
  • |bottom = {{center|{{navbar|MBTA Boat|text=This diagram:}}}} is already supplied by the |navbar parameter (and normally only used for diagrams inside an infobox)

Please stop bloating this template! Useddenim (talk) 16:32, 24 May 2015 (UTC)
P.S. I'm aware of the missing icon; I'll take care of it ASAP.)
