American Civil War Regiments[edit]

I was wondering if you would like to take a look at the list of American Civil War Regiments on a subpage of mine: User:Adamdaley/American_Civil_War_Regiments – It is still incomplete. Adamdaley (talk) 23:16, 7 December 2013 (UTC)

G'day, Wild Wolf, in preparation for the February – March 2014 backlog reduction drive, do you mind if I move User:Wild Wolf/backlog drive proposal to Wikipedia:WikiProject Military history/February – March 2014 backlog reduction drive? Cheers, AustralianRupert (talk) 02:35, 5 January 2014 (UTC)

Congratulations![edit]

Disambiguation link notification for January 25[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Opequon Confederate order of battle, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Captain (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Berkshire Royal Horse Artillery[edit]

Wild Wolf, you recently applied the B-class checklist on Berkshire Royal Horse Artillery. I note you have failed it on B1 "Referencing and citation: criterion not met". I would like to get this to B Class (along with a bunch of similar articles), so can I ask you for some advice on how to do this, please. Can you tell me where I have failed the criteria? I thought I had cited everything. Hamish59 (talk) 08:51, 1 February 2014 (UTC)

Cheers, Wild Wolf. Hamish59 (talk) 16:58, 2 February 2014 (UTC)

B Class[edit]

Hi can you note B class-5 = It contains appropriate supporting materials, such as an infobox, images, or diagrams. 17th (Northern) Division you marked as no for B5, but it has an info box. This is the second time i have noticed this. Jim Sweeney (talk) 07:37, 17 February 2014 (UTC)

You also added it to your list of articles with incomplete B Class checklist. This is also wrong the checklist was filled in. Jim Sweeney (talk) 07:48, 17 February 2014 (UTC)
Strike that see you fixed a spelling error in start Jim Sweeney (talk)

Sock Puppetry[edit]

You are suspected of sock puppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the notes for the suspect, then respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Wild Wolf. Thank you. --Molestash (talk) 17:29, 15 April 2014 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing for a period of one month for using IPs to avoid scrutiny and pretend to be multiple people as shown at this page. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  Atama 20:05, 18 April 2014 (UTC)

Do not use IPs or other accounts to edit while you are blocked. When your block expires, do not edit using IPs or other accounts in a continuation of your previous behavior. Doing any of this can and will result in an indefinite block. Editing while logged out on its own is not prohibited, but to do so in order to deceive others into thinking that you are multiple people (so that those other IPs and your account seem to support each other), to give yourself awards, or to perform any other deceptive practices is prohibited. -- Atama 20:05, 18 April 2014 (UTC)

Because you've used Mad Man American to evade your block after I warned you above, your block has been extended to indefinite. Any further sockpuppets you try to create will be easily found and blocked. Don't even bother trying again. -- Atama 16:15, 28 April 2014 (UTC)

Request to remove block[edit]

File:Orologio rosso or File:Orologio verde DOT SVG (red clock or green clock icon, from Wikimedia Commons)
This blocked user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

Just noticed that I was blocked indefinitely due to supposedly using Mad Man American's account. Since I have never used this account (and never meet the user personally), I don't see why I have to be blocked. Wild Wolf (talk) 16:54, 23 May 2014 (UTC)

Decline reason:

Actually you were originally blocked for using IPs/editing logged out to self-support. MMA came later - as a extemely obvious case of your evading your block; "I am not them" is not going to be a sufficent argument to cause an unblock to be granted. (Also, while all other factors are sufficent to decline, I do find it curious that you "just noticed" here shortly after MMA's unblock request was declined.) The Bushranger One ping only 00:33, 24 May 2014 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first and then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page for as long as you are blocked.

The reason I didn't notice before was that I was helping with a wedding and was too busy to log back into my account at the time. That doesn't really prove that I am the same person as Mad Man American. Wild Wolf (talk) 20:27, 29 May 2014 (UTC)
