Hi! I suggest that you read the policy WP:NFCC#3b. Fair use images should have a low resolution. --Stefan2 (talk) 19:33, 28 September 2012 (UTC)

October 2012[edit]

Hello, I'm JetBlast. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Grand Theft Auto V, but you didn't provide a reliable source. I've removed it for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. JetBlast (talk) 10:34, 28 October 2012 (UTC)

April 2013[edit]

In a recent edit to the page Grand Theft Auto V, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.

For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author used.

In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. JetBlast (talk) 15:26, 2 April 2013 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:Call of Duty, Ghosts Cover.jpg)[edit]

Ambox warning blue.svg Thanks for uploading File:Call of Duty, Ghosts Cover.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:42, 2 May 2013 (UTC)

Image sources[edit]

Hello, when you upload a new image could you please add the source to the image template like I did here, thanks. - X201 (talk) 09:38, 20 January 2014 (UTC)

Watch Dogs[edit]

Can you please explain your reasoning for continuing to add a collapsed list to the infobox release section? The list is not excessive, and presenting it in a collapsed form gives the appearance that the Wii U version is also being released on May 27, which it is not. Replaceable fair use File:Steven Ogg.jpg[edit]

Ambox warning pn.svg

Thanks for uploading File:Steven Ogg.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Peripitus (Talk) 22:51, 29 March 2014 (UTC)

Titanfall box art[edit]

Please update the image's source and use rationale when you change images, such as this one: File:Titanfall box art.jpg. The PC box might be technically better for the logos, but I think I prefer the clean version, myself. Thanks I am no longer watching this page—whisperback if you'd like a response czar  16:40, 19 April 2014 (UTC)

May 2014[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm CR4ZE. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please note that while it is certainly likely the game will be coming to PC/PS3/PS4, we do not presently have sources that confirm platforms outside of 360 and XB1. I have begun a discussion on the talk page for further debate about the matter. Please also note that constantly reverting edits without discussion constitutes WP:Edit warring. File source[edit]

Hey there - thanks for uploading File:Advanced Warfare.png. Do you think you could update the source on the file's description to where you got the cover art? I'm guessing it was a screenshot from the trailer, but I'd just like to make sure. Thanks! ~SuperHamster Talk Contribs 18:21, 2 May 2014 (UTC)
