Please don't leave

Please don't leave, Zoe. I'm very saddened by what happened in the last few days, but it can blow over. We've never edited the same articles, and would probably disagree on a lot, but I've always seen you as someone who cared a lot about Wikipedia and who was good for the project. I am quite sure that Jimbo would not want his hasty words to lead to any permanent hurt, and it's quite obvious from looking at his contributions that he was preoccupied with real life matters for a few days after his phonecall with Mr Pierce, which would explain why no notification of that phonecall was given to the community. It's also clear that his post on WP:AN/I was written hastily, as he had been away from Wikipedia for a few days before, and didn't post anything immediately after, so it's very likely that he forced himself to find time to make a post in order to close the matter immediately, but didn't take the time word it in such a way as to take into account that you were trying to protect Wikipedia and that you didn't know it had been resolved. His own words on his talk page two days later indicate that he did not have any wish to hurt you. Please, Zoe, don't let this lead to a permanent break with Wikipedia. You are highly valued here. Desysopped

In case you return, someone just used your account (among others) saying it had been hacked. It's been emergency desysopped. —Wknight94 (talk) 15:43, 16 July 2008 (UTC)

In case you just randomly read this page: I miss you. - brenneman 23:31, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
From that old discussion, I don't see why anyone had to make such a big fuss about it. Thankfully, they're both in better places now. PotentialDanger (talk) 21:31, 28 April 2009 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Nandor (Middle-earth)

Ambox warning yellow.svg

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Nandor (Middle-earth), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Otto Fruhner

Zoe,

You once deleted Otto Fruhner because a vandal had posted nonsense. As a matter of politesse, I am informing you that I am re-establishing it as a legitimate biographical article of a World War I flyer.

NowCommons: File:H59543.png

File:H59543.png is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:USS Monitor-H59543.png. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[File:USS Monitor-H59543.png]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 12:21, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

Unreferenced BLPs

Information.svg Hello Zoe! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 4 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 1,411 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Charles Wadsworth - Find sources: "Charles Wadsworth" – news · newspapers · books · scholar · JSTOR · free images (I'm trying to exspand it)--Wipsenade (talk) 16:15, 19 February 2011 (UTC)

Articles for deletion nomination of Lists of cemeteries by country

Ambox warning pn.svg

I have nominated Lists of cemeteries by country, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Lists of cemeteries by country. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

File source problem with File:NurembergTrials.jpg

Thank you for uploading File:NurembergTrials.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 08:12, 8 January 2011 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Kelly hi! 08:12, 8 January 2011 (UTC)

It says that this account was compromised... if you have a new account, you may of course count the start time and edits of this (old) account in determining your service award level for the new account.

At any rate, thank you for your long service and many contributions to the Wikipedia. Herostratus (talk) 21:38, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
