Uttamar Kovil (also known as Thirukkarambanoor) is a temple in Tiruchirapalli city in Tamil Nadu, India. It is known for the Sri Purushothaman Perumal Temple or otherwise known as Uttamar Kovil (Uttamar means The good one and Kovil means Temple). It has the shrines of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva in the same complex, making this a unique temple with shrines for all three gods and their consorts in the same place. There are very few temples where Brahma, the first of the trinity, is worshipped in statue form, which makes this temple an important place of worship. The temple also contains the sannithanam for Guru Bhagawan, Saraswati and Navgraha. Thursday Pooja 'Guruwaar Pooja' is very famous in this temple with the visit of more than 500-1000 people in a day. people pray Goddess Saraawati on Thursday to give good metal ability to understand and perform well in the examination. This Temple is one of the places of doing many parigaaram for Hindus.

3–4 km from trichy chatram bustand. Bustsop: Samayapuram Tollgate. The temple is just 5 minutes walk from Tollgate. Tollgate has plenty of bus access including both local and express bussess.
