[edit] Services
SolTrans provides local and express bus service to the Solano County cities of Vallejo, Benicia, and Fairfield, California. It also provides express bus service to the Contra Costa County communities of El Cerrito and Walnut Creek, providing regional connections to BART. SolTrans also provides complementary ADA paratransit.
Baylink Ferry service from Vallejo to San Francisco, which was operated by Vallejo Transit, is now provided by WETA.[2]
[edit] Vehicles
SolTrans operates a mixed fleet of buses. The Vallejo-based fleet features Gillig low-floor hybrid buses with the SolTrans logo shown in various places.[3] Supplemental school routes in Vallejo use TMC 102-A3 and Orion V High Floor buses painted white with a wavy blue gradient that blends into the Vallejo Transit logo on the front of the bus. The Baylink fleet consists of MCI D-4500 buses painted white with a wave-shaped stripe separating a graphic of the San Francisco skyline on the rear and the Baylink logo on the front of the bus. All buses are wheelchair accessible.[4]
[edit] Routes
As of 6 October 2011, SolTrans operates 16 routes. Seven routes are branded as SolTrans and operate within Vallejo. Five routes operate primarily in Benicia. Four routes are intercity routes branded as Baylink.
