Vampire Girl (おまえが世界をこわしたいなら, Omae ga Sekai o Kowashitai Nara, lit. If You Wanna Break This World) is a manga by Fujiwara Kaoru.

Plot

Koizumi Kanna is infatuated with the man who came to the restaurant she works at and ordered a burger with no onions. Little does she know, Toujou Ren is interested in her as well, but for a different reason. Kanna just so happens to be the mirror image of a woman he knew a very long time ago. It is for that reason that he saves her when she nearly dies in a car accident. But the life he gives Kanna is far different from the one she lived before, and she's not certain it's the kind she wants.

Characters

Koizumi Kanna (Sianishi)

She is the reincarnated soul of Sianishi. Formally as Sianishi, she is the lover of Toujo Ren, whom his former self before he reincarnated as Sebastian kidnapped her from her brother, Simon. She was the one who pushed the officer in charge of a serial murder case caused by Simon towards Toujo Ren, whom later was accidentally shot by a silver bullet and vanish in dust. Sianishi also died with a silver bullet shot,but she was pushed by Sebastian towards the light and thus was caught and killed. As Sianishi, she was caught willingly by a circus band who performed snuff show [murder show], including raping her and slicing open her forehead for the audience. They knew that she was a vampire, and sold her to Sebastian father as a secret mistress. After she killed Toujo Ren, she lived for centuries, waiting for him to reborn as another person. Both Toujo Ren and her lived for love, and for love is the thing that makes them wants to kill each other. Both of them kept reincarnating to be with each other, and the more they loved each other, the more hate they have for each other and will be in love so much that they wanted to kill each other. When Kanna first found out about her fanged teeth, she was shock beyond words. Toujo Ren forced her to drink his blood to restore her teeth, which she reluctantly drinks from Ren's mouth.

Toujo Ren (Sebastian)

Formally known as Sebastian, he became Toujo Ren after Sianishi's death. His past is somewhat of a mystery, but he reveals his past as the story progresses. Sebastian is locked in a love and hate cycle with Sianishi. They love each other dearly and are willing to wait centuries for the other to reincarnate. At the same time, their hate for each other causes them to seek revenge for the death of their former life. Their first encounter was when Sebastian was still a child where he found Sianishi in a secret basement. He returns a few years later and falls in love with Sianishi. Despite warnings from Sianishi, Sebastian visits her on a daily basis. During one fateful day, Sebastian walks in while his father is with her. In a fit of rage, he kills his father before having his way with Sianishi. Instead of feeling hatred towards Sebastian, Sianishi is indifferent, which torments him even more. When the town started hunting vampires, they were forced to escape along with Maruya and Rui. However, Sebastian pushes Sianishi from safety and she ends up dying from silver bullets. Their next encounter was when Sebastian kidnaps Sianishi in her reincarnated form as a child. He claimed that he could not wait for her to grow up.

In the present, Sebastian, now known as Toujo Ren, became interested in Koizumi Kanna because of her resemblance to Sianishi and saved her when she was fatally wounded in a car accident. Unbeknown to Kanna, Ren had to sacrifice her parents in order to save her. While Kanna struggles to deal with her new life as a vampire, Ren helps her adjust. After her encounter with Simon, she regains her memories. At the end of the story, Kanna pushes Ren into a police officer and accidentally gets shot by a silver bullet.

Maruya

Maruya is married to Rui and has a kissing fetish. She became a vampire in order to be with Rui forever. Though she and Rui have known Toujo Ren and Sianishi for over a century, she agonizes over the fact that they don't really understand them.

Rui

Rui is married to Maruya and made a promise to be with her forever. Rui supports and occasionally provides advice for his close friend, Toujo Ren.

Simon

Simon is Sianishi's brother that became a vampire in order to be with Sianishi. When he was young, he saw Sianishi being attacked but was too afraid to call for help. Tormented by his own helplessness, he struggled through life until he meets his sister again. Sianishi selfishly turns him into a vampire in order to have a companion while she waits for Sebastian. Due to her heartless and desire to be with another man, Simon seals away his own memories. Later, Simon once again meets up with Sianishi, in her reincarnated form, at a snuff show. This may be the reason why he unconsciously developed the split personality with a desire to kill. When Simon encounters Koizumi Kanna, his memories resurfaced. In the end, Koizumi Kanna relieves him of his nightmare by shooting him with a silver bullet.
