Vanessa Marquez is an American pop singer.
She is best known being featured on singer Justin Timberlake's song "Rock Your Body", and background vocals on his song "I'm Lovin' It".
In 2002, she signed to Arista as a joint venture with Star Trak Entertainment the record label owned by Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo, also known as producing duo The Neptunes.
Vanessa also did backup vocals with Bow Wow, Nelly and Usher.
In the last year of her contract with Star Trak Entertainment, she was supposed to be in a Latin girl group with Natasha Ramos; singing R&B and crossing over in Spanish language. Eventually, the idea didn't work out. When her contract was up, she had the option of staying on with Star Trak, or leaving the label; she left the label.
