Vasiliki (Greek: Βασιλική) is a town in the municipal unit of Apollonioi, on the island of Lefkada, Greece. The village is linked with a road linking with the island capital and to Porto Katsiki and the eastern half of the island. The mountains surround the island and are made up with bushes, grasslands, rocks and a couple of trees, farmlands lie within the valley areas and around the villages.
Vasiliki is a well known windsurfing spot during the summer months due to a local thermal wind known amongst windsurfers as 'Eric'[citation needed]. There are often over a hundred windsurfers in the bay at any one time. The area is also popular with other sailing craft and mountain bikers.
Several holiday companies operate in Vasiliki providing windsurfing and sailing equipment for their guests to use. These include Wildwind, Club Vass and Neilson.
