Vaughn is a former settlement in Kern County, California.^[1] It was located 5 miles (8 km) south of Isabella.^[1]

A post office operated at Vaughn from 1897 to 1906, when the service was transferred to Bodfish.^[1] The name honors Edward Vaughn, its first postmaster.^[1]
