Vignan Institute of Technology & Science is one of the engineering institutions run by the Vignan group of Guntur. It was established in 1999 to offer undergraduate (Bachelors) courses in engineering and technology. It is situated in Deshmukhi, a suburban region of Hyderabad, India.
The college is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh.
Engineering programs offered are Computer Science Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineeringg, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, Instrumental & Control Engineering and Mechanicalng. The post graduate courses offered are MBA, MCA and M.tech.

The campus was established in Deshmukhi. The area is named Vignan Hills, 350 acres (1.4 km2) with valleys and watersheds, with mango groves and greenery around. It is situated at a distance of 35 km from Koti, Hyderabad.
Vignan's is the brainchild of Dr. L. Rathaiah, a visionary educationist.[citation needed] He developed a series of educational materials for public and competitive examinations and later established the Vignan Residential Institutions in 1983.
