Vijay Pur is a town and a notified area committee in Jammu district in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir.

As of 2001[update] India census,[1] Vijay Pur had a population of 6400. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Vijay Pur has an average literacy rate of 73%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 77%, and female literacy is 69%. In Vijay Pur, 12% of the population is under 6 years of age.
