The Estonian Wikipedia is the Estonian version of Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, started on 24 July 2002.^{[citation needed]} On 3 January 2011 it had 81,064 articles. On 7 December 2008 Estonian Wikipedian Andres Luure was one of fifteen individuals recognized for volunteerism in Estonia for 2008.^[1] As of February 2012, it has about 94,000 articles.^[2]
