The Village Primary School is a school in Normanton which was created from the merger of Normanton Junior School, Normanton Village Infant School and Sunnyhill Infant School in 2008. It has about 570 pupils who are mostly from ethnic minority backgrounds.[1]

The school was built in 2008 on the site of the Village Community School which closed in 2001.[2] Normanton Junior School was demolished to create a housing estate.[3] Normanton Village Infant School became the Village Learning Centre — a learning centre for adults.[4]
