The Vishera River (Russian: Вишера) is a river in Perm Krai, Russia, left tributary of the Kama River. It is 415 km in length. The area of its basin is 31,200 km².[1] The Vishera River freezes up in the late October–early November and stays under the ice until the end of April. There are diamond deposits in the basin of the Vishera River.
It is one of the most picturesque rivers of Ural. It starts on the extreme northeast of Perm Krai, near the border with Komi Republic and Sverdlovsk Oblast. Flows on the west foothills of Ural Mountain, representing a mountain river in the most on its length. There are many rapids and shoals in the channel and many rocks along its banks.
In upstream located Vishera Nature Reserve.

- Left: Niols, Moyva, Vels, Uls, Akchim, Yazva, Vizhaikha;
- Right: Lypiya, Yelva, Bolshaya Vaya, Pisanka, Govorukha, Kolva.

Komi people call the river ‘Viser’ but they have no idea what does it mean. Experts in Komi language noticed that this element is also in names of other rivers in Ural. A. K. Matveyev supposes that Vishera can mean ‘Northern River’ or ‘Midnight River’ (in Sami languages).
