Viviana de los Ángeles Parraguez Ulloa (born April 20, 1981) is a Chilean politician, lawyer and surfer.[2] Parraguez is a former Councillor of Pichilemu.[1]

Biography[edit]

Parraguez was born on April 20, 1981. She completed her secondary studies in 1998 at Instituto Sagrado Corazón in San Bernardo, Santiago Metropolitan Region.[3] Although she did not get a good amount of points in the Academic Aptitude Test (PAA - Prueba Aptitud Académica),[4] she studied Law. Parraguez conducted her practice at the Corporación de Asistencia Judicial de Pichilemu (Spanish: Judicial Assistance Corporation of Pichilemu).[2]

In 2006 she began to surf, according to El Mercurio.[2] After the 2003–2009 Pichilemu political controversies, Parraguez joined the National Renewal party, and was presented as candidate for councillor of Pichilemu.[2]

Parraguez was elected councillor of Pichilemu in 2008 with 447 votes (6.27%) from a total of 7,127 votes.[5] She lost the 2012 elections, obtaining 256 votes (3.53%) out of 7,169.[6]
